Great place for breakfast. Was definitely crowded though. Plan to make a reservation or go a little early. We got there slightly after opening so we beat the wait.

$5 valet parking on a Sunday was convenient and the guys were friendly and fast.

We sat at the bar so we didn't have to wait on a table and our server was wonderful. Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without hovering.

One thing to note is the restaurant is...loud. Music, people and TVs and the atmosphere is warm. Definitely draws a younger crowd but the food was good.
There's no pork so skip it if you crave regular bacon but if you're good with turkey bacon or other non-meat breakfast options then you're good. Also, the lamb shank? Delicious.
Good strong coffee, good service.

We were sat almost immediately, which was the only positive of the experience . They were definitely not busy, and we were sat in what we thought was an awesome booth, but we were hidden away from view. In the first ten minutes, we did not have waters, or our drink orders taken. Our friend had work at 1:30 so we thought it was plenty of time when we were sat at 12:05. Our orders were not taken until 12:20. We received our alcohol within twenty minutes and then sat for a full hour with no refills on our water. One of our friends went up to ask them to cancel her order and they said they would discount our meal. That was at 1:24 pm. We still did not receive our meal until 1:40 pm. When the food arrived at 1:40 and we were ready to go, we realized that none of us in that hour and thirty-five minutes had been given utensils. So imagine my surprise when we had been sitting there since 12:05 and the total discount was 10%, $9. Mind you, that was one hour and thirty five minutes of my life I will never get back. And what did most of us order? Was it a crazy dish? Most of us ordered eggs, sausage, toast, and fruit. Thankfully, after being told how crazy it was to get a 10% discount (AND have auto-grat), they bumped up the discount percentage to a whopping 25%. A check for six people that was still $180. Why the food was not comped at least 50% or fully and us still pay fully for alcohol drinks will remain one of my life's greatest mysteries, because paying more than I would for ihop or Waffle house and getting the same quality of food and worse service for a higher cost was just embarrassing.

Coming back to change this to a one star, due to us going to Waffle House in Atlanta a few days later and receiving BETTER service in a quarter of the time AND much better food. The waffle at Waffle House ran CIRCLES around Barney's French Toast. And the bill for six people? about a hundred less than at Barney's. Save your money and time, hit up waffle house, and buy some champagne and OJ for a much better brunch experience.

Barneys was a complete disaster. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Let’s start with the arrival. You’ve got to pay just to park, then you’re stuck circling around looking for a spot. After all that, you finally make it to the door—but the wait to get inside is another issue entirely. Once you’re in, you expect at least a warm welcome. Nope.

Diamond, the hostess, completely ignored us. She didn’t greet us, didn’t smile—she walked right past us like we were invisible. No “hello,” no “we’ll be right with you,” nothing. It was rude, uncomfortable, and totally unprofessional. From that moment, the vibe was already off.

Once we were finally seated, we got Heaven as our server. Heaven came over with this fake energy, like she was pretending to care, but her body language and tone said otherwise. It felt like we were bothering her just by being there. No real effort to make us feel welcome or taken care of.

Then came the food—and honestly, we wish it hadn’t. After waiting almost 30 minutes (on top of everything else), we were served one of the worst meals we’ve had in a long time. The food was bland, overcooked, and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Nothing was fresh, nothing was seasoned right, and for what they charge, it was flat-out disrespectful.

This experience was a waste of time, energy, and money. Between the horrible service from both the hostess and server, the long waits, the bad food, and the unwelcoming vibe, Barneys is not worth the hype.

Y’all really gotta do better. We came expecting a vibe and left with a headache. Never again.

I placed a to go order and after getting home I realized that an item was missing. I called the store at 12:15 pm and spoke to Sabrina (if that's her real name) that told me I would have to come back up there with my receipt to get it. I mentioned that I live 40 minutes away and just wanted a refund then she told me I would have to call back on Monday because this was their peak time and they could not help me. I asked for a manager and was told that they did not have one. I spent a lot of money with the included tip and think this should have been handled differently.

Visited this place for brunch while at a business conference. The food I purchased was the Shrimp and Grits and it was delicious. I sat at the bar which was less crowded. Atmosphere was inviting, staff was friendly. However, the music was very loud. As the time passed you could tell that the younger crowd was starting to arrive and the vibe seemed to change from mellow and chill to loud and rowdy rather quickly. Overall experience was nice.

Love love love this place. As a previous ATLIEN. I have come to know this place due to visiting for the beyonce cowboy carter tour. We had brunch here and I absolutely loved everything about it. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, along with the fried catfish and grits. Bathroom was very clean and the atmosphere was very inviting. I will be back for sure.

Rich Life experience is everything but! Come to this place if you want a rude, nasty manager (dark skinned woman with locs) who knows nothing about appropriate managerial etiquette. We waited over 10 mins before being greeted by a server. When we addressed this with the “manager” she lacked empathy and told us that if we decide to leave she would still charge our card as a cancellation rather than try to remedy the situation. Restaurants want the Black dollar but don’t respect us as consumers. I won’t be coming back.

You ever have a meal so good you don't even take a photo because the minute it hits your table the aroma and look of it is so good you just dive in? The lobster mac and greens, the sweet potato pancake, and the yard bird were entirely that. Worth every penny and even had me chewing on the lobster tail shell! Kayla was so awesome too, constantly checking on us, providing us with incredible recommendations and was so patient!! Very sweet, very attentive , and loved her energy! Overall 20/20 vibe, food, and service!!

A little shop with great food. Was really busy and I seemed to be forgotten about for a short while, but the staff was very responsive once they noticed how long i was there without being seen.

If you’re looking for frustration and to waste time, this is your place. The service was painfully slow — we waited nearly 30 minutes just to even meet our waiter. When our waiter finally appeared, it was as if it was his first day on the job. He was very inattentive and slow moving, drink orders were placed and he wasn’t seen again for another 45 minutes for food order; after nearly an hour of waiting on our food, the waiter comes back to the table to retake our order. So we waited another 30 minutes before receiving our food. Additionally, when it was time to pay the bill, I asked my waiter for a to-go box, he left me with the portable payment device to go get the box and never came back; in fact the valet (who came to drop my car keys off since the restaurant was closed and his shift was over) went to get the container for me while my waiter was standing behind the bar talking on his cell phone. I’ve literally never seen such horrible service before!

As for the food? Completely forgettable. Not the worst meal I’ve ever had, but also very far from the best.

Save your time, money, and sanity. There are plenty of restaurants in this city that understand how to treat customers. This isn’t one of them.

We came in to celebrate the engagement of me and my partner with a party of 9 that we reserved days prior only for nearly everyone to have an attitude. One of the women in black with a red Afro literally got an attitude and stormed off because i didn’t hear her. All the tables were dirty, the cups were dirty, my food was cold. It was a terrible day to celebrate such an occasion. 10/10 don’t recommend maybe unless they get a better system and better staffing. Also they should accepts reservation for 2:30 when they close at 3:00 so now everyone is ready for you to go and irritable.

Had friends coming in from out of town for the first time and I only heard good reviews from this place so I decided to take them there. Group of six got sat at a corner table pretty hidden from the rest of the restaurant at 12:05 we were not greeted with our server or even got waters closer to 12:30 and we had to ask twice for our server to come to the table. We immediately ordered food and it took us closer to 1:45 for the food to arrive. Within that hour, our waters were not refilled once.
i've worked in the restaurant industry for over three years and I have been living in Atlanta for over 12 and never in my life have a experience such slow and uncommunicative service. I honestly don't know what happened and felt quite embarrassed. Either they need to get rid of that corner table or be more communicative in the case of slow service.
