It cost less than West Village and has better food than North Ave.If your looking for decent food for the price come here if your looking for a nice area to study with sweets go to North Ave.

Eat lunch in Harry Potter style. Beautiful, historic building.

When compared to West Village and North Avenue Dining Halls, the amount of food and choices are miniscule. Also, given by how close Brittain is to North Avenue, North Avenue is the better choice.

It's been over 20 years since my last dining experience here. The Coca-Cola slushy machine was new; everything else was not. My favorite dish was a specialty of Chef Schutz, stale cookies reheated to taste fresh via the toaster oven. His genius was thwarted by a vanilla wafer that crumbled and immediately caught fire. There may also be 20 year old apple jacks in the chandeliers. Breakfast for dinner during finals was fun, as were the made to order omelettes. The after-dinner diarrhea was less fun, but made for a memorable experience among friends in neighboring bathroom stalls.

I discovered THE Brittain Dining Hall during the great couch-tossing event from Schmiff Penthaus, circa 2000. I give it exactly one star better than the shampoo bottle coverage event of late 1999, featuring Nathan wandering through the hallways after a shower.

Horrible. I just had the nastiest stomach flu after eating at Brittain.
I love food in this dining hall. The best one among three in campus!

I wish first years weren’t required to purchase a meal plan. I’ve been skipping meals just so I don’t have to go to a dining hall and be verbally harassed by the staff. My parents think I’m not eating because I don’t like the food and I just feel bad for wasting so much money.

My favorite dining hall among the three. Love the ambience and the variety of food options whenever I step in for lunch. The pizzas here are very doughy but delicious. A single slice can fill you up. Also, the cupcakes for desserts are pretty good!

Definitely the most practical place to eat around campus when you are in a hurry, provided you are satisfied with vegetarian options (that part of the buffet was usually pretty free the 21-22 year). Most consistent supply of ice cream from my experience!
