Food was really good, and the portions were generous. Our server was a little scattered at times, but overall they were attentive and kept things moving.
Brooklyn Cafe seems to position itself as a moderately high-end spot, but the vibe doesn’t quite match that. The biggest issue was up front, it got crowded at the door, the hostess was slow to respond, and seating took longer than it should have.
That said, the prices felt fair for what you get when considering quality and experience.

We decided to have a Valentine’s Day lunch here, it was the best choice we could have ever made. Our food was hot and delicious! We actually sat at the bar area and Cindy was amazing and even gave lots of recommendations because it was our first time there. The food and service was excellent. There were 3 in our party with 2 having a crab entree or crab salad and the other member having the chicken sandwich. We loved the dishes and our waiter was very attentive. We will return.

When I made the reservation, it asked if this was a special occasion and I responded yes “Birthday” but there was no notice of my friend's birthday at all. Very disappointing.
We traveled from Tennessee to take our son to dinner for his birthday. My husband and I dined with you in 2024 when we were down to visit, and wanted to try it again. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our server Karl was AMAZING!! Such a personable young man. Kudos to Karl!!

The special of grilled fish which was scallops and risotto was terrible very disappointing. I should have sent it back. It was not risotto and the scallops were uncooked. Do not recommend it should not be on the menu. Definitely ruined my desire for grilled fish at Brooklyn Cafe. Service was very good.

It was an unusually busy and crowded Thursday at 7:00; we brought very critical out of town friends with us; I was very concerned while we were crammed by the door waiting for our table. BUT it WAS worth the wait and everyone loved the food, the service, the atmosphere. Thanks so very much.
