aiways loved this place the food is awesome but don't like the bartender Jay. she's always too busy gossiping about customers and coworkers to get our orders right. not a class act like rob and lauryn.

Gave it a 2nd try (trying to use a gift card) - slightly better - food was dropped off (mediocre) and never was approached by our server. No check back to how it was going, no drink refills - nothing. Won't be back.

The place is great. When I was there last visit, I was disappointed as our booth smelled like a dirty rag. It ruined the meal.

It was a lovely experience. We brought my 96 year old grandmother and appreciated the short menu. Everything we ordered was fantastic especially the monster turkey sandwich. Brooklyn cafe will be a regular when we visit town!

Disappointed
The three of us were extremely disappointed. I asked to be in the quietest area of the restaurant and I think we were, however, there was an extremely "energetic" group in the same space that made our time intolerable. Additionally, I ordered the grilled salmon, medium. It was overdone, and, it was tasteless. I never put salt on my food, but I did last night. The fig salad was nicely dressed, but the figs were few and far between, and the size of raisins! Tasty, but not what I was expecting. Nice that it was split in half before bringing it to the table to share.
