Yes, they had a vegan breakfast sandwich and plant milks. That’s where the positives end. After explicitly asking if I wanted my latte iced or hot, they made it wrong. The syrups were $0.50… per pump ? And took over 20 minutes to receive a drink and breakfast sandwich when there were barely any customers. They charged $4 to put the small $8 breakfast sandwich on their waffle instead of English muffin. Left the spinach off the sandwich which was what made it cost more than a similar one. Overpriced and underdelivering.
Great spot! The waffle was made by a genius! So good. Great staff and vibe. I ate half before I decided to take a pic.

Great tea, staff, atmosphere AND playlist. The chicken salad was delicious, shoutout to Rock and his granny for this recipe.
I am about to create a new category: "Places that specialise in serving warm beverages containing mild stimulants in an atmosphere of serene conviviality." I have done this to avoid calling this a Tea Room. I am British, and frankly Tea Room suggests the wrong vibe entirely. This is not a place for aging white middle-class women to have a good natter about the weather and nork down scones with the Jersey butter and strawberry jam. This is a tea joint with the vibe of a coffee joint. It also serves excellent coffee. Being British, I appreciate good tea, but on the occasion of my visit I wanted good coffee, and BT did not disappoint one iota. In this day, it is pretty much unnecessary to say that a coffee (or even a tea) place serves good coffee. If it didn't it would either have to improve fast or go out of business. So, the quality of the coffee (and tea) are givens. What makes one place better than another is the vibe, and BT has it right. Relax, airy, lots of natural light, suitable for conversation, but equally suitable for reading, or writing, or scanning your phone. A place to slow down for a while amidst the bustle of city life. Take a deep breath. Eat a guilt free waffle. There really is a Brooklyn in Brooklyn Tea. She is the owner, founder, and CEO; and at the moment she is in the Carolinas someplace, but when she started Brooklyn Tea, she was in Brooklyn. The Atlanta connection is that her sister is in Atlanta, and her sister was behind the counter at the Castlebury location on the day I went. And full of bonhomie, knowledge of her products, knowledge of the neighbourhood, and just general friendliness she was, too. It is therefore completely honest and authentic to refer to Brooklyn Tea as a "local place," which means we should all try to support it, as distinct from supporting a large multinational like Starbucks. Down with Starbucks. Up with Brooklyn Tea. That said, BT has several locations and higher aspirations, so it combines the best of both worlds -- the workers owning the means of production plus global aspirations. Everybody wins. BTW, the selection of teas is outstanding, though I did not notice my personal favourite: Formosa Lapsang Souchong, which is a smoked tea from Taiwan. Perhaps by the next time I am in Atlanta they will have it. Or perhaps they have it now, and I just missed it. (I wasn't wearing my glasses when I went. Silly me.) An aside. I had just has lunch around the corner (literally about 50 yards away -- or roughly 50 meters, as we in the civilised world long ago made the conversion to metric; someday America may join in and switch from 8-½ x 11 inch paper to A4, from the American form of Imperial measures to metric, and from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Someday, but not yet. How quaint you Americans can seem at times.)
Wheelchair accessibility: BT is on ground level and everything inside is spaciously placed, so I can't imagine a problem. On top of that, such was the friendly "no problem" attitude of the staff, that I feel sure that if someone needed some assistance, they would get it right away without even asking.

I randomly found Brooklyn Tea while I was taking a walk during my visit to Atlanta. I went in and was really warmly welcomed by Neilson and Rocke, who let me sample some teas, explained to me a bunch of the different kinds, and then made me perfect iced teas. I had the Assam and the Kyoto Cherry Rose Sencha, with a little cane sugar. Both so good, and the chicken salad waffle was great.
But the best part of Brooklyn Tea was that then I sat at the counter and had a really fun conversation about my trip, life, serious and unserious stuff with Neilson and Rocke. They're just such warm people. I'd go to this place every single morning if I lived in Atlanta.
Well, I had one more day in Atlanta so the next morning I went back. This time Nicole served me and was also lovely. I got the White Peach and the Alishan Oolong, with a cherry danish on the side. Again delicious teas and the danish was so good warmed up. Perfect space to prep for a morning lecture!
I want to come back to Atlanta as soon as I can just to go here every morning, try all their other teas, and enjoy the immaculate vibes of the staff.

My experience at this spot was top tier! From the time we stepped foot inside the vibes were amazing. The lady gave us a thorough breakdown of all the delicious teas available and explained some of the benefits. Awesome customer service. We ended up getting the Cucumber Melon Green Tea Latte and the Coconut Bao Zhong Oolong Tea Latte and they were amazing! Additionally, we had one of the vegan breakfast sandwiches which were also delicious! I highly recommend trying this place out!

I came here with a friend of mine for the first time and everything exceeded our expectations. Rocke gave us the full experience and it really made our tea time even better! They gave us samples of two teas when we came in which were amazing. My friend and I are both super curious so naturally we had a billion questions for them. They were so friendly and gave us so much information about the business and teas. Definitely going to be back: this is the perfect place for a date, whether with a significant other or a friend.

A calming and relaxing tea shop to work in! They have a large selection of teas and they make sure to brew each tea with the right steeping time. All of the employees were very kind and seem to care about community they're building.
