I won’t prefer to eat here the egusi wasn’t what I thought I had egusi since I was 16 and I’m 36 now and It never taste like this ever weather I made it at home or I went to Mama Put restaurant it’s a different taste I will never returm

We eat here once a week. The food is consistently tasty! Try Waakye with Beef, Jollof and Goat or Palava Sauce (Egusi) with beef. Food is Ghanaian Approved!

First time trying egusi..
The lady that took my order was very pleasant and help me ordered.. i order the fufu and goat egusi..
The taste was decent.. but it was a little burnt as well with the goat..I thought that was how it supposed to look until i got home and really start eating it
Would have have gave them a 5 star if my food wasnt burnt

Wow I really enjoyed this food! The Jollof rice is smokey and so delicious! The goat is the perfect compliment to it. I see some say the goat is dry, but you have to understand how they cook it. The sauce and flavor makes up for the dryness, in my opinion. None of it went to waste in this house! Everything was good, tasted clean and fresh.
I ordered on instacart, the driver had another order to drop off before mine and it still arrived hot!

Best tasting African food I’ve ever tasted. It’s so different and authentic.

I just got the eguisi with the beef. It had no flavor and the beef was hard and tough. I did order the pepper soup with fish it was pretty good.

I ordered the Egusi and goat meat through Uber. The Egusi wasn't a soup like I'm used to. It seemed to be more fried. And the goat seemed old, it is 12:55 pm and I received my order at 12:25pm. They just would have opened so why I got old goat meat not sure. Also it is like 90% spinach and 10% actual Egusi.

Liars! I placed an order on Uber eats and I am vegan, have never eaten meat in my life. I called the restaurant and spoke with a woman before ordering to ask if they cook their egusi soup in meat and she assured me that it wasn’t cooked in meat. I placed my order, halfway through eating, I pick up small pieces of meat. I am sick to my stomach and can’t believe you would lie like that and play with someone’s health! Shame on you!!!

As Africans we need to stop complaining and start appreciating,the food was awesome,tasteful,everything was on point. I loved every bit of it,u are doing God’s work Adwoa,God bless you. All those complaining y’all don’t know how to cook.

This place used to be hit when the older Ghanaian couple owned/managed it. Not the same after they left.

Gave this place the benefit of a doubt. Ordered the Egusi and Goat to go. This plate put African dishes to shame. Once I looked at the goat I knew I was wrong placing an order. I took my fork and poked it. I knew it was hard by it's deep black color. I didn't bothered touching it further. A waste of $20+. I should have walked out as soon as I walked in.
