Great for a first time experience! I went with my girlfriend tonight. Jay had phenomenal customer service. He made sure our needs were met & still made room to joke around to ensure we were smiling. AB was very kind & shared similar traits, as well. Great personalities.Great atmosphere.
My wife came here a few days before our wedding and this place was all she talked about before, during and after the wedding! She demanded that I come here and try out the food. She got the blackened fish sandwich her first time here and I got the lobster roll while she got the fish and chips the second time around.Boy let me tell you... If you love seafood and haven't tried this spot... You are doing your taste buds a disservice! The bread on the lobster roll was perfectly buttered and toasted, the lobster was buttered and seasoned to perfection, and the tater tots that come with it were pretty good as well. She LOVED the fish and chips but she overall recommends the blackened fish sandwich. We also got some garlic shrimp on the side that were the perfect addition to our meal.The staff were very friendly and hilarious. I recommend the food and the conversation, it is well worth it.Vegetarian options: Lots of healthy and veggy options.Dietary restrictions: Seafood so watch out if you are allergic. I think their non-seafood options are small so be mindful.

The fish/chips were good but the hush puppies were very underwhelming. The hush puppies seemed over fried and too crispy on the outside and yet still undercooked on the inside. The fries were also a bit mushy but the malt vinegar helped. This is my first time ordering so would probably order again but not the expectation I thought.

received 2 orders of "crispy cod" that I picked up after ordering on UberEats. Both were burnt and inedible contacted BB and after a few days and a few back and forth emails they threw the reapon of getting a credit on UberEats (who I used to place order). Brown Bag passed the buck to UberEats. UberEats declined to get involved. all fine. but I won't go back. shameful

Hear me out. Here’s some constructive criticism… not being rude or anything. I’ve given this location a few tries. I genuinely don’t know how the reviews are so high and positive. Like have y’all never tasted something good in your life? ? The food tasted like nothing. Look west eggs cafe at least could get the seasoning right. The fish and chips have tasteless coating and it’s a bit thick. Cannot tastes the fish flavor. The dipping sauce lacks layers and straight up tastes like dipping in thick oil(which is mayo but it doesn’t even taste as good as regular store bought mayo). You really need to study how tartar sauce is made. I had to add a few ingredients by myself after taking it home. The garlic bread was good. The fish burger or whatever it was was the same way. Like it felt like I was chewing on nothing. Fried sides are extremely greasy. I know it’s fries etc but still.. I can spit out a mouthful of oil after chewing on the tater tots. Garlic bread was good and the sauces are obviously made by themselves but can you do better ??

Take it to the counter and pay. Be mindful, cash is not accepted. The food portion was plentiful and filling. A little pricey. The atmosphere is ambient and has nice music. Have to pay for parking via an app, which I thought was senseless.Parking: Have to pay on your phone with app

Brown Bag is becoming one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always so fresh and well prepared. Irecently placed an online order, but accidentally made the pickup for the wrong location. Rashad, AB, and Alana all were all so kind and ended up offering to make my order for me. The customer service and display of teamwork that they showed really warmed my heart, especially being new to the neighborhood. 12/10 customer service, and I will happily be back!!!
