I would advise against dining there if you value a pleasant experience, given the reportedly subpar cuisine and unpleasant service, particularly from one of the staff members who is a Nigerian lady. THIS PLACE FALLS SHORT OF EXPECTATIONS.

Food was good but too expensive fufu with egusi soup $30
I enjoyed the egusi and fish that I had with fufu. The waitress was very nice and accommodating and I will definitely go back there to eat again.

I wanted to try a side of jollof which is priced at $7. The cashier refused to sell side orders alone and all their meals are $25 and up. The price is too high for the amount of food you receive i dont recommend to anyone.

I had doubts due to some of the reviews, but I’m happy I trust my gut and gave Buka a chance. I visited this afternoon, and the food, customer service, hookah, and atmosphere were all exceptional. A special shoutout to the waitress, Dora, who was incredibly sweet and attentive. I’ll definitely be back!

Decided to try an authentic Nigerian meal this week — and boy, did I clean up my plate! Definitely a 10/10 for taste!

The waitress was extremely rude. When we walked in no one greeted us or even told us to seat ourselves. The real highlight, though, was the roaches chilling behind the seats like they paid rent. Would not recommend unless you’re into being yelled and possibly have roaches in your food.

This is the fourth African restaurant that I've eaten from, and all the other restaurants were Nasty except exception one. This African restaurant will be my favorite restaurant. The food was so delicious and no weird. aftertaste.

This is my second time eating here and I must say that Buka 2 Lounge is the best around for Nigerian food. I ordered the goat fufu and egusi the best hands down and Dora took my order she was very lovely.
