The food (vegetable) was good. The chicken wasn't thoroughly cooked. The banana pudding was delicious ?. We had to order food outside and sit outside until they prepared food. My first time there. We probably won't go back. I couldn't even drink the lemonade it was too sweet

Good food but the lady outside gives horrible service. Arrived to pick up my order and had me waiting outside for 15 minutes to take everyone order outside only to go inside and grab my food off the table.

So it's pickup only, no sitting inside. So I got a veggie plate. The collards were good they don't give you much. The black eye pees were salty as hell. I added my cornbread to help reduce it but that didn't help. The candid yams are not southern yams as all. They tasted like they were boiled yams, as for taste just ok. This wouldn't be my southern go to at all. I also got broccoli casserole it has a burnt flavor and the rice was overcooked. This Wednesday was not a great day for the Busy Bee.?
Dietary restrictions: If you have high blood pressure Don't go there cuz this stuff is salty and the strange thing about it is I got the vegetable plate trying to eat healthy.

Food is good, but waiting an hour for to have a veggie plate ready for UberEats is insane. Driver told me Keith Lee came by, so I guess that means they can’t handle being open anymore. If you can’t fulfill delivery orders then turn the app off! Would rate zero if I could. I’ve ordered here before and enjoyed it, but I will never give them another dollar after today.

I’m leaving 3 stars because the food is always good. But there I no reason why ppl are waiting an hour for food, and then somebody just walks up hadn’t even ordered or knew what she wanted at all! and because she knew a waitress inside, gets her food for free and only had to wait about ten minutes. While the lady with the blonde short 27 piece has an attitude with anybody asking about their food when we have waited for over an hour. Unacceptable is the least I could say!

I was visiting ATL, and my little sister recommended this place. She said the food was amazing and I totally agree but that customer service was for the birds. The nicety and irritated with my cousins and I for no reason. Now I would go back for the food because it was that good but that customer needs some work.
i had the fried chicken. Now i personally lend less weight to my judgement of fried chicken. I do not recall ever having any that has blown me out of the water. There’s simply par and this was that. It hit, but it wasn’t bussin’, you dig? The greens was whatever and the cornbread cool.
The blueberry cobbler, now that was definitively delish. A bit sweeter but to be expected from most shop bought baked dishes.
Now i can’t really judge atmosphere because we didn’t go inside so i’m leaving that at 3. It’s really a N/A category. The host was nice to us outside. She actually recognized my friend from when he was young and would come with his family which was awesome.
My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken, yams, and mac and cheese, while I chose the fried shrimp, greens, and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious, but I wouldn’t recommend the mashed potatoes or cornbread. The mashed potatoes were very dry and lacked flavor, and the cornbread was also dry and hard.

For this to be a black owned staple very UNWELCOMING! Tell the young lady at the door she could smile more and not hault people to wait outside so abruptly. I was holding the for an elder who laughed bc she knew what was coming on the other side of that door. I haven’t been to this place since college and it’s STILL EXPENSIVE SOUL FOOD THAT REEKS OF SERVICE W AN ATTITUDE! I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY. They are still operating as if we are in 2020 pandemic so you must sit outside on a bench to wait for food next to a picnic table where nothing is in order and food is given and dropped with no thankyou, no have a good day just plain expensive soul food and attitude. The older woman grabbing food for her father that I held the door for said Oh yea NOTHINGS CHANGED”… SHE KEEPS TELLING HER DAD WHO IS 80 but he doesn’t have to experience the service or the price” after I opened the door to come inside without seeing any sign of being helped outside and stated that the lady was “UNWELCOMING” so I am not the only one . A smile and communication would be helpful! I hope this review truly helps. Have a blessed day and I pray whatever is going on in that woman’s life that she heals and gets better :)
