Omgggg! At first when I looked at it I thought it was going to be so bland, but that first bite REALLY humbled me omg. I got the cubed steak white rice Mac & cheese and yams. The Mac and & cheese is just like home, & any southern folk know exactly what I mean by that! The meat wasn’t as seasoned but still had flavor to it and when you mix the yams with the Mac it’s heaven. A fan suggested it off twitter and thank the universe I will be eating here every time I’m in Atl now

Food was too excellent for 3 stars but the wait was 1 hour longer than our quoted pickup time, so we waited 2 HOURS for our food and it was cold when we got home. We reheated it when we got home and it was really good food. But there's no reason for it to be a 2 hour wait besides lack of organization. If you want this food you gonna have to fight ubereats and doordash drivers for the staff's attention. I think it was worth the wait. But whoever reading this review might not.

For me, the customer service was great, not all warm and fuzzy, but definitely came through for the surprise birthday party we planned for 120 guests. I picked up the food from the restaurant, the food was ready before my pick-up time. It was packed well, no spills and easy to transport. All the guests thought the food was delicious. I ordered the green beans, mac & cheese, yellow rice and candied yams. I will use them again.

What’s the point off selling me a whole burnt sweet potatoe pie. This is really disturbing. I expected better. I want a refund.

Looked online and it didn't say anything about carryout or catering only. Walked in and was told i needed to wait outside as there was no dining inside the restaurant. When we did finally order we paid 17.00 for 6 wings which were seasoned, but not fried to my liking. I like my chicken fried hard, it was pretty light in color. Banana pudding paid 24 for 2 and no whip cream, wasnt worth that at all, order 40+ dollars which I didn't mind , it was the service I did mind. SEVERAL employees didn't acknowledge us at all, one was on the phone and didn't say anything just stared, another was eating food and staring. I don't like it when I feel awkward and not welcomed into an establishment when I'm spending my money with them..Came from out of town and won't return...Sad
It's always like eating Mom's home cooking. This is hands down the best soul food restaurant in Atlanta and I have lived here all my life.

Let me start off by saying this is one of the worst experiences of my life. The place is small, you can’t dine in and they make you wait outside like a criminal after excessive long wait times for your food. The ordering system is really chaotic, and the short haired, African American, obese woman who is taking orders is rude, ghetto and may not even take your order after waiting outside. We placed an order online only for them to dismiss it and when we showed them the proof they still ended up not taking our order and told us they were done taking orders for the day, all while they owner stood there and watched her employees run her business in the ground. If I could give it minus 5 stars, I would. As an out of town guest looking for good soul food in ATL with good service I would say don’t waste your time, energy or efforts here. You will be highly disappointed!!!!

U can’t be comfortable at this store , the service horrible!!!!!! I understand totally about them bringing out orders but when a server waitress or cashier comes and out and don’t adress u looking in your face then when u try to come to door say we bringing everything out still not greet u say what’s your order name or nothing come back out and look at you again and ask everybody else I’d never come back, I went home and cooked thanks for saving me some money on this sun day bad service mama ?
