The blueberry lemon biscuit bites were absolutely amazing with just the right amount of crunch. Our server was phenomenal, and the food was delicious—I had the catfish & shrimp with grits.

I was excited about my first visit and I met the general manager who was very pleasant. I ordered deviled eggs, which were good but the catfish nuggets were extremely salty and unbearable to eat.

We came mid morning, around 10:30-11a and it was not busy. We waited about an hour for our food and all we received was orange juice. The server never came by to check on us. The food was warm and tasteless. Nothing had flavor or seasoning.

I’m not impressed. Would not come again!

This is an awesome gem in College Park for breakfast. My first time here with my mom who's visiting out of state. The food, service, and atmosphere were all awesome! Annette, our server, was awesome as well! I will definitely come back with the rest of my family!

The wait was much too long. We waited 45 minutes for simple breakfast items.

This was our first stop from the airport. We got there at was seated fairly fast. We ordered breakfast and then we waited 45 minutes for it to arrive. The portions were decent and the biscuits were good but everything was slightly cold, the waitress never offered me more coffee or checked on us while we waited for the food to arrive. There was a social media couple there filming and it was just awkward because the staff were trying to wait on tables all while doing interviews but the worst part was that they were filling all of catering and take out orders before the dining room orders. So one and done for me. To make matters worse, my husband got sick off the sausage and gravy. So won't be going there again. I only posted what I ate, again cold food.

Jasmine took great care of us from the time we sat down. She explained the menu and made recommendations on what we should try as first time diners. We all enjoyed our choice of breakfast. The biscuits are so light they could float off the plate. The grits are creamy and delicious and the chicken biscuit with scrambled eggs tasted great with a little Tabasco sauce on it.

Found this place right down the street from the hotel i was staying in. Reviews looked good, but eating at Buttermilk Biscuit in person was well worth it. It is a small little place that was packed on a Saturday late morning, but I was able to get seated right away. It was hard to make a decision on the menu, but settled on the Catfish, Shrimp and Grits. It was delicious!! Everything i saw them bring out looked amazing, even ordered the Biscuit Trio to go, for later. I'll definitely have to go back before I depart.

Unpleasant Experience
My wife and I visited the College Park, GA location and was very disappointed with the host (a young male). We asked to be seated away from the door but was refused...then were told that we should not even be seated at the table were being given.
At that point we left and went elsewhere. Part of dining out is the experience of being hosted in a pleasant environment...and the service is very important part of that...obviously this host did not understand nor care.

Left this place with turned stomachs 🤢

As soon as we walked in there was a funky smell and didn’t seem very clean. We contemplated walking out before we were served because of it. Wish we had because, later when my daughter was eating, she found a very small- (looked like a baby fly) in her eggs. The waitress immediately took it away and the manager came and apologized and said she would take it off. I got a little queasy because it was a baby fly and I know when baby flies are around, maggots are close by. At that point, I left the rest (70%) of my breakfast too. The kicker that would have avoided this review is that we were only discounted $8- part of what her breakfast cost. When I complained, the owner stated my daughter had ate part of it. In essence, we paid $8 for 1 piece of bacon because she didn’t even finish that. I don’t care if she had it eaten everything but the egg, as soon as there was a fly, that ruins the whole meal- gross. Bad client service. I wasn’t in the mood to argue and the place was so empty I felt bad for a small business owner trying to make it but after reading these reviews and now finding that this is a pretty busy place, I am super annoyed that she didn’t remove the whole thing. I wish I had taken a picture of the place to add in here. I will say the waitress was very nice.

I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was pretty disappointing. The moment I walked in, there was a strange smell in the air — kind of sour and musty — which wasn’t exactly appetizing. The food itself wasn’t very good either; it tasted bland and slightly off. To make things worse, I actually found a tiny baby fly in my food.

When I told the manager, she said she would give me a full refund, but instead only took off $8 because we had eaten two pieces of bacon and a piece of toast. That didn’t sit right with me, especially considering there was a bug in the meal. The atmosphere wasn’t great either — the lighting was harsh, the tables felt sticky, and the whole place just had an unpleasant vibe. Between the weird smell, mediocre food, and that refund situation, I definitely won’t be coming back.

I accidentally stumbled across this fantastic restaurant with my family recently, and WHAT a find!!

From the moment we opened the door, we were greeted with warm hospitality, followed by some of the best restaurant food I’ve eaten in a very long time! Those biscuits are *magical*!!

Our server was Ruben, the most congenial host imaginable, who made sure that we were well taken care of…and we certainly were.

If I recall correctly, the manager’s name was Aubrey (sp?). He was so gracious, friendly and welcoming, I wish I didn’t live so far away (Phoenix)! I’d be eating there regularly!

Thank you so much for the magnificent food and positive vibes!! 😍
