This is the worst coffee shop in Atlanta ! It says they sell premium coffee that none of the employees know about. The coffee was watery and trash and no bathroom !!

visited atlanta from tampa, fl and decided to check this place out after a very early morning flight. it did not disappoint. we ended up going there everyday for the rest of our stay to get ourselves breakfast and coffee. i got the turkey pesto sandwich twice and the chipotle chicken sandwich once, both of which were bangers. my friend and i are both baristas and really enjoyed our coffees. their peach tea was so good i made sure to order one for the road each time we went. really cute place, very sweet staff, and i will definitely be back the next time i’m in atl. :-)

also on 9/13 we had an odd encounter with an unhoused person inside the shop, and one of the baristas (guy with glasses) very kindly stepped in to help. they were very professional and sweet about it. thank you to whoever you are, and thank you cafe lucia for keeping me and my friends fed and caffeinated during our stay in atlanta!

so happy we stumbled upon this place! they have great breakfast options and drinks. everything came out fresh with great taste. there was also an outside hall way that had available seating which was nice.

I usually have an excellent experience here, it's one of my favorite cafes downtown. However, I got an apple turnover today out of the front case and took it home- I bit into it, and it was full of mold! This was less than an hour after purchase. Tried to call the cafe to warn them to throw them away but no one answered the phone (not sure if the phone number on Google is correct tho).

This was a very disappointing visit. When I walked in, I wasn’t acknowledged at all. I stood at the counter for about five minutes while the young lady behind the bar, though clearly busy, avoided eye contact and never once said, “I’ll be right with you.” I didn’t even know if I was supposed to wait or order somewhere else. I actually started looking around for a kiosk or some kind of online ordering option.

When I finally ordered, I asked for something very simple: a vanilla latte. What I was served was honestly terrible. The drink was made completely out of order, coffee first, then milk, and ice thrown in at the end which guaranteed it would be wrong. And it was. Instead of a crisp iced latte, it came out as a lukewarm, milky mess with no real espresso flavor. A total waste of milk.

To make matters worse, the café itself was dirty and unkempt, which only added to the bad impression.

Overall: poor service, poorly made drink, and poor cleanliness. I would not recommend this café.

Great little place! I stopped in before my flight to get a dark roast and it was delicious. I usually never get a refill but I felt like I had to. Staff was really friendly too.

Yipes. I watched an espresso shot sit on the machine for a full minute, thinking I must have been wrong, before seeing the barista double steam the milk (steam -> stop and cool -> steam) and then drop the shots into the drink. I don’t even order espresso drinks but I ended up leaving before getting anything. Not even the barista’s fault — that’s on whoever trained her.

I liked this place! Very “quirky” and cute interior. It’s clearly providing a laid back and casual coffee house vibe that I appreciate. The drawings and posters are a nice touch. Coffee was good but $7 for a small, which is slightly steep. The pastries looked good and they have a large sandwich menu. It’s a fairly small location with three booths, a four person table, and a couch.

Café Lucia is such a gem of a find!
I was looking for something simple, local, and budget-friendly for breakfast, and this was the first spot that popped up.

From the moment I walked in, it felt like a space rich with history and rooted in the local culture. It instantly set the tone for my day.

I ordered an egs and cheese croissant ~~ it was made fresh, and I could taste the quality in every bite ~~ real fresh eggs, buttery croissant, perfectly cooked.
The coffee? Smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to kickstart my morning.

The décor gave me just the right energy to open my laptop and get into work mode.

Sometimes, the best finds aren’t the biggest or flashiest. Sometimes they’re the local gems that make you feel welcome, feed you well, and leave you ready to conquer your day.
Café Lucia did exactly that, and at a great price. Ill be back.

Great food and good coffee, but disappointingly food served in polystyrene boxes

I loved the quirky interior! Very unique and chilled our cafe and that’s where the compliments end.

We ordered a Latte, Drip Coffee (dark roast) and a Croissant.

I am sorry to say but this place fell short of any expectations I had. The latte was flavourless, the croissant was flat, warm and oily. I’ve never had a croissant like that before so it’s a don’t waste your money moment for anyone reading this review.

The coffee was uninspiring.

The service was slow. I was given my latte and then the lady at the till started serving someone else! I had to ask her for the rest of my order.

Didn’t leave me eager to return which is a shame as I loved the interior.

Ps…one of your black leather chairs has a broken front leg. I’m glad I don’t weigh much otherwise I would have been on the floor.
