I LOVE Cafe Bistro at Nordstrom Phipps Plaza!!!! I went for lunch today and had the Roma tomato soup with a Toasted Cheese Crostini along with the Chicken and Goat Cheese Panini with Fries and Kalamata olive Aioli and it was PHENOMENAL! Absolutely loved the food today and I cannot wait to go back! The best restaurant for lunch in the area, perfect for grabbing a bite while shopping! Don't listen to the negative reviews, the service was amazing and everyone was very attentive and helpful! I will definitely be returning!

Cafe Bistro is a delightful department store restaurant with tasty menu items and a limited beer and wine service. The wait staff is solid and the food is really well flavored. Vegetarians will thrill and there are gluten-free items.
Wheelchair accessibility is easy.
We were a big fan of the soups and desserts. The chili really stood out.
Be aware that an 18% tip is automatically added.

First of all the service here was amazing. Everyone was supremely kind and helpful. The food was also better than we expected and the chocolate chip cookie, which is baked in house, is phenomenal. Highly recommend if you're in the mall.

I recently dined at Bistro Nordstrom, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. Not only did I find a hair on my plate, but the overall customer service was poor. The staff seemed inattentive, and there was a general lack of hospitality throughout the visit. Although I didn’t bring up the issue at the time, the lack of attention to detail—both in cleanliness and service—was a major letdown. For a place with Nordstrom’s reputation, this was extremely disappointing. I’m not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Went on my lunch to get the Crab Bisque and grilled cheese. They notified me that they changed the cheese but I didn’t think it would look like this. I got back to see this disaster of a grilled cheese and when I went back to complain they all looked at me crazy and one lady working there got an attitude with me about it. This is not a grilled cheese. It looks like they sprinkled shredded cheese on it and called it a day. I am not used to this from cafe bistro, I am very disappointed.

This used be to one of my favorite restaurants as a kid. However, I might not ever come back after tonight. The server, an elderly white man, at the counter where you place your order was unbelievably rude. He told us most items were limited and I tried to order at least three meals; each time I asked for an item he yelled "OUT" with such pride. At first, I thought he was just being playful but he was so nasty and grumpy as my attempts to order were swatted down. My father and I had enough of his attitude and left. It feels like there are very few good spots left in Atlanta for a simple meal, and we thought Cafe Bistro would be a good idea for tonight. If management is reading this, hire friendlier, more professional workers because our server along with the other employees (working the night shift on November 15, 2023) seemed so bothered that we walked in for dinner at a reasonable time before closing.
Everything was fresh, hot, and appetizing. The waiters were awesome as well. Will be returning! Thank you.

My nurse friends and I used to order the crab bisque frequently. The current version of the crab bisque is watered down with no crab meat at all. They even gave us tomato soup once and stated that it was crab bisque. Very disappointed and won’t be wasting money here anymore.
