This place has great Indian food. I feel bad for not leaving a tip but I was not feeling well and had no cash on me. Also, had to leave in a rush cause I ate a bit too much and I felt like I may vomit. My apologies to the owner and staff there. If I do return I will leave a tip next time. Thank you for your service and food.

We chose them to cater our wedding party. The food was good but service was terrible.

Ordered online then called restaurant to verify they received our order. However the restaurant was very short with us on the phone and made it difficult to get the verbal confirmation we were seeking.

Delivery was at least 30 minutes late. When we called the company we ordered through (EZ Catering) to ask about the ETA of our food we got a literal crying baby on the phone after being on hold for 15 minutes. When we called the restaurant, twice, they were very impatient and rude. We paid extra for catering supplies but weren’t supplied all we needed/paid for.

Again, food was good but the catering experience, from start to finish, was bad enough that we won’t use them again for anything

Wishing the restaurant well through whatever troubled times they seem to be facing

I remember going to cafe Bombay in 2009/2010 and back then it was the best Indian buffet available in the perimeter in my opinion. I could identify their butter paneer gravy and Peshawari naan from across the room! Fast forward to last weekend, made it through after a very very long time for a weekend buffet. The grevy from the heaven, check. But I believe that cafe Bombay is probably the only Indian restaurant that doesn't serve paneer in the grevy, and even the vegetables that the name of the curry promised were no were in existence. I remember their naan being the clouds of love, and now they turned into carpets of rubber :( the kadhi pakora was still the same amazing and so were the chutneys, but the rest of the food quality was no where in comparison to what I remembered. The thing that stung the most was the carrot halwa that I would have pushed the elbows for back then was more like a dried carrot cake ready to be scrubbed. Atlanta is a different city now, with so many different options that put significantly more efforts in the food, even if it is a weekday buffet. I was thoroughly underwhelmed and heartbroken for the place that was preserved in my memories as the best Indian food before this visit.

The service was amazing but we ordered gobi 65 and that was too salty. Samosa and chicken and tikka masala was amazing. They put pistachios in the kheer. Now why would you do that :(

The food here was very average and honestly disappointing. We ordered two different chicken curries but both looked and tasted almost the same with no unique flavor.

The overall taste was bland and forgettable. Service was friendly but but very mediocre food. Definitely not a place I’d return to or recommend for Indian food in Atlanta.

I visited Café Bombay for the first time with a friend, and unfortunately, it was very underwhelming. We both left hungry and disappointed.
• The chicken tikka masala was a letdown—rubbery chicken in what tasted more like thin tomato soup than a flavorful masala.
• The saag paneer was just average; honestly, I’ve had better versions from the frozen section at the grocery store.
• The eggplant dish was completely overwhelmed by oil, making it hard to enjoy.
• The garlic naan was soggy, though the plain naan was passable.

The only highlight of the meal was the chai, which was genuinely enjoyable. Beyond that, nothing stood out in a positive way. Overall, Café Bombay was subpar and not worth visiting.

The service has been subpar. They cut you off, aren’t very friendly, but the food is really good! I’ve had chicken tikka masala, Rogan josh, chicken and lamb vindaloo(prefer the lamb), and my favorite is the rogan josh. Super flavorful, tender meat, never any problems. Only complaint is that sometimes, dishes have way too much oil which dilutes the flavors. Rice is good/well-cooked MOST of the time. But I called and asked for spice added to my tikka masala and then did not deliver on that. If you’re ordering delivery, they don’t listen to the modifications even if you call right after submitting the order.

First time coming for the lunch buffet on Sunday. I do not eat much meat I so was delighted to see a lot of veggie options. Everything was so good. Looking forward to coming back!
