What a whack experience at Cafe Circa. Ended up paying for entrance for an advertised rooftop party (spoiler: rooftop never opened up and there wasn't much partying), ordered drinks that came served in plastic cups despite an evident selection of glasses behind the bar. Even the drink ordering process was an embarrassment, given the fact that our server indicated that we could order any drinks from their menu but the bar staff could also make cocktails that weren't listed — I ordered an old fashioned but got word back minutes later that they "were missing everything that'd go into an old fashioned." (btw management: now would be a good time to correct the spelling of 'Old Fashion' on your menu)
The DJ disappeared after our modified order of drinks came out (early night?), and some subpar pre-made mix of soca started to blast through the speakers, suddenly doubled in volume for whatever reason, with just a handful of patrons sitting throughout the lounge. We decided to change our table to be able to continue our conversation slightly further from the blaring speaker, and after 10-ish minutes, our server approached to let us know that this fine establishment's owner has arrived and would like to sit where we were currently sitting, so it was time to change our seating spot once again (btw management: get over yourself😅)
By the time our round of plastic cup cocktails were empty, we decided we've seen enough of Circa and headed over to another bar just up the street, where vibes were actually good and service was impressively 10x faster (despite occupancy also being 10x that of Circa's).
I'll end on a good note to share that our waitress was pleasant and the drinks decent in taste, despite the rest of the abomination that our experience here was... hence the 2/5 rating.

I booked a section for my birthday just to get there and staff had someone else in my section. I explained that I booked the table and they tried to place me in general seating so I just left. Later I was contacted by the guy I booked with and he said he moved the people even tho the server previously told me she couldn’t move anyone. They promised me a discount and refund of my deposit because of an inconvenience fee but when I came back the place was completely empty and I was charged full price + deposit on my bill for less than an hour at this empty ahh spot. I also had to text the dude for days with no response before he finally gave back my deposit . Please save yourself the headache, this place isn’t what it used to be

The vibe was nice. The drinks were made better on the first floor. Rooftop drinks were not great. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Music kept the vibe going.

I just recently frequented this lounge and had a great time ☺️ the ambiance and food was great! However, my favorite part of my experience was the service I received ! Alana was absolutely amazing! She was extremely efficient and had such a great personality and vibe. I would definitely add this to my list of places to be for the good food, good vibes and IMMACULATE service!

Dj played too much Caribbean music, guess it was just one of those nights. Section and bottle cost $300 a little to high. Got moved to another section halfway through the night, didn't like that.
