My husband and I have been going to Cafe Sunflower for years, and it has always been excellent - a good mix of healthy and decadent options, nice portion sizes, and delicious desserts.

I ordered the chicken biscuit, and it came with a side of tofu scramble, house fries (a mix of sweet & regular potatoes), and kale that was drizzled in a balsamic vinaigrette. Everything came out so delicious, especially the tofu scramble!

I love this restaurant, it's great even if you're not vegan. I loved to come in for their Sunday brunch. I would get their blueberry pancakes each week. Always friendly servers. The only reason I don't come in any more is that I've moved away.
If you're there during not brunch hours, their tiny avocado soft tacos and nachos are also great.

Pretty disappointed, considering previous reviews. Our waiter was really nice. The Brussels sprouts and the chicken drumsticks were enjoyable. The rest was extremely mid. Looks great in photos. We did feel pretty gross the rest of the evening - like we'd eaten heavy greasy food. Maybe worth a second try, but not sure we'd return.

We love Cafe Sunflower and the food is always great! Our server was Jose and he was doing a great job until he bought our to go boxes out and dropped one on the floor! He proceeded to pick the one that dropped up and placed it on our table! We had him bring us another one as a replacement. This was unfortunately reflected in his tip that would have been 20% to 18%. Please discuss proper handling of products in a restaurant.

On my first solo visit to Atlanta, I had to try this upscale vegan restaurant which has been “plant based since 1994” per their menu cover. I had the Sunflower Loaf. The menu description is: “Impossible Meat Loaf, Red Bell Pepper, Onion, Zucchini, Water Chestnut, Kale Tossed In Sweet Thyme-Vinaigrette Dressing, Roasted Rosemary & Garlic Mashed Potato Served With Mushroom Gravy”. I really need to figure out how to make a similar salad dressing because I am not a salad person and inhaled that kale. It was really delicious. My server was excellent. I was sad that I ate so much and didn't have room for desert. The location is definitely off the beaten track for a tourist trying to use public transit. I ended up having to take a ride share to/from the restaurant because my bus was cancelled both times.

I love me some sunflower, but my complaint is take out order has a tip I am standing up, not seated. I do not mind giving tips which I tip for all services only if I am getting service not standing services. The food and drinks are delicious.

Had the steak special and it was delicious! Mushroom gravy with asparagus, carrot, onions and bell pepper slivers all over mashed potatoes. Would definitely order again.
