Chinese food at this spot - great. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. Prices are appropriate for the quality. This place has good reviews for a reason.

Cajun Supreme is an Americanized Chinese mall food court stall located at Lenox Square. It's one of the first stalls on your right when entering the food court from outside. I'm not sure why they call themselves Cajun Supreme because they serve Chinese food. They've been at the Lenox food court for years. This is one of those typical Chinese "fast food" restaurants where the food has been cooked and is sitting on display, heated, behind a pane of glass. You can point at and choose the foods you want, which are then stuffed into a disposable Styrofoam eating container. Prices: 1 meat & 1 side - $4.99 1 meat & 2 sides - $5.49 2 meats & 1 side - $5.99 Meats consist of dishes like sweet and sour chicken, pepper chicken, and mango chicken. Lots of chicken. Sides include lo mein noodles, fried rice, sauteed potatoes, mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cabbage), green beans and mushrooms, etc. The chicken is good, but the sides are subpar. I recommend the mango chicken. It's crispy and tasty. The noodles aren't very good. They're flat and excessively oily. Most of the food is quite oily and/or drenched in heavy sauces. I've also encountered bad, wilted veggies. That's not to say all the food isn't fresh, though. They just need to be more consistent all-around. Noodles or rice count as a side. It varies by restaurant, but many Chinese food court restaurants do not count noodles or rice as a side. Therefore, you get less for your money here. Service is good and efficient. In the grand scheme of things, Cajun Supreme isn't terrible. When it comes to Asian food court food, they rate slightly below average due to food quality and value. Sadly, there's a reason why they're always staring at longer lines at Sarku Japan across the way.

For a mall food court, the chicken is pretty good. The sides are about average. When I'm at the Lenox Mall food court, I usually choose this place. The servers are friendly here. If I were to rank the chicken, I would say (1) mango chicken, (2) bourbon chicken, (3) sesame chicken. The mango chicken has the best flavor of the three, but the bourbon chicken is also good too. All three are relatively sweet. None of them are really spicy. Vegetables could use a little improvement. I had the string beans recently - too much oil and too much garlic. Portion size is sufficient. The price for the amount of food you get is reasonable.

I asked if their chicken pasta salad had any onion and was told no. However, the chicken pasta salad, which had no chicken at all, was just awful. Penne drowning in an awful sauce that was terribly garlicky and onion-y. Must be powdered or mixed well in the sauce because you don't see the onion but you feel like you bit into the bitterest, most stingy onion you can find. What a waste.

The chicken egg roll was old and taste like fish. I asked for a spring roll and they said no because I tried the other egg roll.

Umm - actually, great "chinese food" (for a cajun place) and MSG free!!!

Don't accept the bottom of the barrel chicken. It will end up being 70% crust. Not impressed at all with the quality of the food even for a food court item.

Their sanitation grade is an A 95. Asian Chao and Pacific Grille have Bs.
