Dinner was excellent. Fantastic suggestions, one of which has been on the menu since Canoe was founded almost 30 years ago and we saw why! Services was stellar and was pleasantly surprised at the overall experience.
Wonderful family dinner. Amazing service- lovely setting. Food was amazing and we never felt rushed. Love Canoe!
This was my best dining experience in ATL. I had the kangaroo which was delicious and Clayton was very attentive and excellent. Highly recommend dining here.
The outdoor area of this restaurant is stunning! The bread basket was delicious. The menu is limited in options with unusual choices like kangaroo making up some of it so be prepared for that. The service was friendly if slow which was fine as we were socializing, but my fish entree was barely warm by the time it got to the table and not very flavorful. The salmon appetizer and watermelon salad were both something I could have made at home, not the showstoppers they were supposed to be. The bread on the burger buns on two other meals was too hard to even eat which was very odd but it must also have been sitting.
It is a classy restaurant with a caring and attentive staff. Its diverse menu provides many choices. The presence of the river nearby is a welcome addition to the ambience.
Everything about Canoe was outstanding...except for the noise level. Sadly, my husband and I were seated next to a table of eight extremely loud people (4 couples) who made it nearly impossible for us to have a conversation. Finally, when they left, the noise level was just fine and we were able to enjoy our dessert.
Two out of four orders were poor. Tacos were cold on the inside and had to be sent back. Food allergy on another order was not honored
Accommodated a last minute request for me. The food, service, and views are unmatched. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
The food and service was exquisite. I ordered the salmon which was prepared properly. The atmosphere and walk around after dinner was out of this world ! I'm looking forward to our next visit!
Canoe has a very versatile menu with especially interesting appetizer options. Great seafood and steak and poultry / duck choices. Can't wait to go back.

Canoe is one of our favorite restaurants and never disappoints. The property is lovely, the food, drinks and service is always outstanding.
We started at the bar as we awaited everyone's varied arrivals. I had the Mint to Bee which was delicious. I loved the round table for 5 allowing us all to catch up and chat easily. We had a beautiful view of the garden in bloom and the river. Our server, Tiffany, was exceptional, responsive, kind, and made wonderful recommendations. She was very knowledgeable. The pacing was perfect. I had raw oysters and pasta with scallops. Both were well prepared and delicious. We did not feel rushed and never wanted for water or any thing at all. Canoe is dependable for good food and service. Valet parking - but very easy, friendly and quick. Thank you - look forward to next time!
Wife had some type of string or fabric in her halibut dish. Recook came with a much smaller piece of fish and looked thrown together. Not nealry as many beans or mushrooms as the original. My med rare steak was well past medium and was cold by the time the recooked fish arrived. Still charged full freight and no check in from the manager afterwards. Overall disappointing meal and service.
We ordered the red and golden beet salad, the kangaroo and salmon as appetizers. The kangaroo was lean and tender and the salmon was fresh and light. The beet salad with goat cheese was phenomenal! Great flavor profiles! We then shared 2 entrees, the rabbit and halibut and both exceeded our expectations! Everything was superb and our wait service was the highlight of the evening! Alex was personal and attentive! She made beautiful recommendations and checked on us regularly, but not to much, giving us plenty of time to converse and enjoy the dishes prepared for us! Canoe is a beautiful dinning location and although it was after 9 pm the gardens were still gorgeous and full of soft lighting allowing us to take a short stroll around the garden beds.
Great everything. The Bloody Mary, She Crab Soup, and Salmon Eggs Benedict were all of high quality and taste. Very attentive and abundant staff, and a great setting. There is a reason this establishment has been around for 30 years!
