From arrival to departure every member of the staff made a special effort and addressed me as Miss “my name”. We were seated very timely and we ordered my favorites : salmon on potato crisp and she crab soup. Also basket of sweet roles with special butters as it was brunch They offered to box up what we couldn't finish of those. One of the best Bloody Mary's I've had although mine was Virgin. Spicy! Overcast and chilly but still delightful garden and a nice buzz, like a restaurant in London. Sophisticated.

Its the first time i visit this place and unfortunately the food did not quite meet our expectations. The food is below average ...

Our lunch at the Canoe was a most pleasant experience. We sat on the lower level outside on a lovely fall day. There were appealing menu choices--dishes I wouldn't have made at home--and they were expertly fixed. Our server was kind and helpful--we couldn't have had a better experience. We had been given our gift card from the parents of students we taught. What a thoughtful present!!

Have never had a bad experience @ CANOE! From valet to hostess greeting to going to our table in the most beautiful setting to our waitress AND THE FOOD! ❤️ CANOE!

This was our first time dining here, and the husband and I truly enjoyed our dinner. The ambiance outside with the river was spectacular, and we enjoyed strolling and taking pictures. The service was superb, and the food was delish. We will surely come back. I love that they have a valet, so there are no worries about parking. In addition, the menu offered a delightful variety, making it hard to choose just one dish. Each course was beautifully presented, and the flavors were exquisite. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening that exceeded our expectations.

Great service. Great food. I was on a date. Rather have not been seated next to a table of 10+ including 4 kids around 5 years old.

Usually the service is perfect and the food is good. This time the service was good and the food great! Loved the rabbit! Drink service at the table was slow. We felt a bit rished by our waitress getting our food orders.

What was once a restaurant reserved for special occasions is no longer worth it. We just left Canoe after celebrating my wife's birthday, and the experience left us feeling anything but special. The hostesses were cold and unwelcoming. Even though we noted on the reservation that it was my wife's birthday, one hostess awkwardly announced, “Oh, this is for your wife's birthday,” in front of her—hardly celebratory. Despite the occasion, we were seated directly next to the kitchen rather than on the patio with a view. The food was disappointing across the board. The quality reminded us of a Marriott hotel breakfast buffet at best. There were no peanut-free options for their so-called “famous” scones, which meant our daughter with a peanut allergy was left out. The French toast arrived without syrup. The $12 scones were dry. The scrambled eggs were runny, and the bacon was undercooked. My daughter's chicken tenders were over-fried, and the fries were cold. We've had better, fresher breakfasts at First Watch for half the price. The service added to the frustration. We were rushed through the meal—in and out in under an hour—which felt more like a LongHorn or Chili's than fine dining. Our server paid little attention to us, though he did recognize his absence and apologized multiple times. Still, nothing was done to acknowledge my wife's birthday, which is shocking for a fine dining establishment. This has never happened to us before. The atmosphere itself was dated, and the benches were so worn we were practically sinking into them. Bottom line: We spent $120 on a mediocre breakfast, poor service, and zero hospitality. We could have had a much better experience at countless casual restaurants. Canoe is no longer the special-occasion destination it once was.

The place was great. I had a waiter named Matt. He was excellent. He was very attentive and helped a lot. Thank you.

Julia gave us excellent attention! The brunch was incredible! The dining experience at Canoe is one of the best in Atlanta. The peaceful setting that accompanies the experience is another trait that makes this one of the best places to dine in Atlanta.

Good was good but the service was possibly the worst I've ever experienced. The waitress was rude and tried to rush us through our meal. The entrees came out less than 5 minutes after we ordered. The window was brought out about 5-10 minutes later. She continually tried to hurry us up to get us out of the table we were occupying. It's almost like she wanted us to chug our expensive bottle of wine. After I signed the bill we still had about 1/3 of the bottle left and she rudely grabbed the check off the table. I left a note on the bill about being very disappointed and the manager came out to chat with us as we were leaving the restaurant. Had he not come out I would have probably rated this as a “1”. Very disappointing experience - I've gotten better service out Outback. I hope she was training - coached or removed.

This was my first time visiting Canoe, very familiar with their sister facilities like Ray's on the River. Chase was our wait server and he was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable about the food, drinks, etc. His personality was contagious, joyful and welcoming. The bread, pasta ,tacos, soup and sandwiches were all fantastic. Desserts were Rich...Raw oysters were Amazing. Drinks were delicious from wine, martini, and signature drinks.

The evening was very loud to the point we could not hear each other talk. I had allergies and usually, Canoe is able to accommodate easily. However, there was nothing offered except what was on the menu. It was so busy that the service was slow even though our server was lovely. I have dined at Canoe many times, and the food is always delicious. However, this time it was just okay. I was disappointed food and loud atmosphere.

I've been here a few times and it's always fantastic. This time it still delivered. The best part was Betsy. Over the top service. The food could have been horrible and she would made it taste better. Thank you for the service (and the food was awesome). My wife and I will be back for sure.
