The restaurant decor is very calming, noise level are moderate so it made enjoying the food even better. The food was amazing but portions are on the smaller side compared to the price. Would have gave 5 stars across the board but we felt the price to portion value was low, but the price to quality value was high. Overall we will be back to explore more of the menu.

The food was tasty however the menu could use more quality food. This place is perfect for a GIRLS night out, but not for a date night if your partner is expecting to get full. Plates are smaller with very minimum sides (halibut with pea cream sauce). Again this is a girls restaurant if you like smaller bites.

The food was okay nothing special. My steak was a bit burnt but the flavor was okay. The potatoes were good but the sauce they came with was dull and spicy at the same time. The caviar fries were great I've never had something like that before and the Rockefeller oysters were tasty but I wish they had cheese. The ambience was nice a bit loud since we were there at a busy time, but the service was great the girl was super nice and helpful. It's worth it for the environment but if you're a foodie it's nothing special.

The food was good and the service attentive. My only beef was the price. At $125 / head, I thought it was a bit pricey for what it was.

First time there and it was truly a beautiful and unique experience. The food was cooked to my delight and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Shrimp were still 1/2 frozen. Lobster was limp and watery. Oysters were good. Scallop Crudo was inedible - strong old fish odor. Caviar was very good. Service was attentive and friendly. Room was loud. Dance club style music (although at a lower level) played throughout. Drinks were good also - Sazerac especially so.

It was our wedding anniversary and my wife was impressed. We sat immediately. Great people. Outstanding food. Also, we parked in the parking garage downstairs and the elevator door opened right at the restaurant. All in all, a great evening.

Carmel-Woodfire Seafood & Oyster Bar was very good. We were there for our 39th anniversary celebration. Beginning with the Oyster Rockafellas and Caesar Salad. The Rockas were very well seasoned and meaty. I liked the extra bacon bits. Our server, India, was awesome. She helped us during the entire time. I liked how the restaurant recognized our anniversary. Very well done! 👍🏿

I came with my coworkers after attending a conference all day. We needed to unwind with some drinks and food. I did my research and found Carmel on Open Table. I'm thankful for the prior reviews and the ability to see their menu. It turned out great for us. We started with drinks. Two of us had the Lychee Martini, one had the Peach State Sour, and one had wine. All loved their drinks. I enjoyed my Lychee martini and then I had to try the Peach State Sour. They all are definitely worth having. We started with 3 appetizers. I had to get the Oysters Rockefeller which were really good, another ordered the Tuna Tartare which was equally delicious and then the Shrimp Scampi which again was fantastically seasoned and cooked just right. Two of us had the Red Fish, one had the scallops, and one had the filet. Everyone commented on how delicious their entrées were. My wife and I have had Red Fish several times in Florida, and it was prepared perfectly and tasted like it was just caught. I would bring my wife to Atlanta from Indiana just to have it. The scallops were cooked perfectly although I thought they appeared a bit undersized for the price. My friend had a perfectly cooked med well filet with the truffle butter and the side of potato puree (mashed potato). She loved her steak and she let me try her potatoes and they were amazing. I got the carrots as my side to share and they were very good. Are service from Marilyn C was great. The pace of the meal was perfect. We did not feel rushed. I will be back when I come back to ATL.

definitely wont be coming back. there’s so much better out there. My gf brought me here for my birthday dinner. Milk bun. very plain they dont dress it up in garlic or anything. my gf ordered red fish neither of us enjoyed it. very bland. i ordered the scottish salmon, very plain they didnt even add a lemon on the side. ive never had a salmon with no lemon on the side.
we also had to potato puree, very plain no seasoning at all just plain potatos. to top it off we ordered cavier fries that never arrived. overall 2/10 experience wont be coming back
