Poor quality overall in environment and food. There was no one to help me with a question. Won't be back.

This is a REAL Mexican family restaurant... not an American restaurant with good Mexican food, but mexican food done authentically. I live in the neighborhood and have been coming here for almost 20 years. LOVE IT.
OK... a few things to be ready for. You need to enter the grocery store and walk through to get to the food service area. There is a modest eating area with a few tables to tables to eat. Not much for decor and not set up for a dining experience. Also, you will need to get your drink from the cooler and pay at the register. Love both the green and the red chili sauces, don't miss out.

I visited this establishment on 11/15/25 at 11am. It is not the typical Carniceria that usually has good food, it’s the opposite. Overpriced and not good. It doesn’t taste fresh, like the meat has been sitting a while. To make matters worse, the cashier lady at restaurant section, in her late 40’s was rude and disrespectful. I simply asked for a simple request and she kept making these odd faces and gestures. Her CS skills are terrible. Don’t waste your money and time.

This place is definitely a hole in the wall, but nevertheless it boasts authentic Mexican flavors for an extremely reasonable price. The tortillas and meat are cooked to perfection, and the salsas are packed with flavor and spice. Never would have guessed that this place would be so good, I’ve passed by countless times on my way to Publix, and would definitely challenge people to get out of their comfort zone and enjoy a meal from here.

The foods amazing and the people are really nice. The store offers great drinks and snacks too. Absolutely recommend if you’re in Atlanta, it’s a nice hole in the wall restaurant with quality food for a cheap price.
