Very tasty Chinese kosher restaurant inside Kroger supermarket. Large size has a decent quantity of food. Recommend the chicken and beef with rice noodles or fried rice. Order takes around 20-25 min wich gives you a chance to browse the large kosher groceries selection avaiable on the supermarket. Will come back for sure next Atlanta visit.

This is the best Chinese meal I ever had. I highly recommend the General’s Tso chicken and the dumplings. The food is fresh and very flavorful. It’s absolutely delicious and Mordechai is such a wonderful and kind person. He might speak in French to you if you ask nicely.

Inconsistent Yet Promising: Chai Peking's Kosher Chinese Togo Experience Nestled within the confines of Kroger, Chai Peking beckons adventurous palates seeking kosher Chinese cuisine. This culinary journey unfolds with moments of delight and hesitation. The chicken fried rice and General Tso chicken dazzle the taste buds, embodying the essence of authentic Chinese takeout. The service, orchestrated by a dedicated management team, orchestrates a seamless and swift dining experience. Yet, shadows mar the experience, casting doubt on Chai Peking's consistency. A return visit revealed overcooked egg rolls and wontons, tainted by the ghost of reused grease. The wonton soup, a beacon of warmth and comfort, falls short, lacking the depth of flavors anticipated. With a discerning eye, I bestow upon Chai Peking a 3/5 star rating. A return is possible, but with a more cautious approach. There lies potential for greatness, should they rectify these inconsistencies. Presently, it serves as a respectable choice for Chinese takeout, albeit with room for improvement.

I have been taking food out from Chai Peking for many years. It’s always been good and very dependable, In that regard.my recent visit, though was extraordinary.I picked up the food around 1:30 in the afternoon, on Friday for Shabbos, and we ended up eating around 530 later that day, and actually ate it at room temperature . It was excellent best I’ve ever had.the vegetables were crisp, the meat was properly cooked. Everything was just perfect. Some of the items We ordered: the egg-rolls with meat in them, They were delicious. The dumplings were delicious. The general chow’s chicken was beyond good, the breading was light, chicken was moist, and the sauce was appropriately spicy. We also ordered a new dish, for us, Mongolian beef, that is now a staple of our dinners. The house special fried rice was extraordinary even the white rice, which is my favorite was moist and properly cooked. The new containers are also great, no food leaks in the bags when Carrying food home.Everything was just so delicious and well prepared. You can tell that management cares about what they’re putting out. It’s definitely the best, kosher take-out in Atlanta and possibly in the entire south! Also, dollar for dollar it’s a great value, the portions are excellent and the protein in the dishes is in good proportion. The food was ready when promised and service was excellent!Way to go Chai Peking! ThanksVegetarian options: We often get tofu dishes and they are always prepared properly and delicious. The vegetable side dishes are excellent. The only one that I would caution people about, if they have to wait time before eating, is the green beans and onions. The dish is wonderful if you’re going to eat it right away but if you have to wait, hours, before eating the green beans, do not stand up well to the wait.Parking: Kroger parking lot in Toco hills, plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is in toco Hills Kroger so it’s very accessibleDietary restrictions: Strictly kosher and I believe they offer gluten-free entrées as well which I’ve never tried

I went here after reading reviews. I had a large order for my family. It was my husband’s birthday. The food was not good. I was embarrassed, & appalled, plus I spent a lot of money. One star. Not going to trust reviews anymore.

Where to begin? Let’s see.. Rude staff and owner. I ordered Mongolian Beef and egg rolls. The egg rolls had definitely been sitting out because I almost chipped a tooth biting into it. Mongolian beef was not horrible but was expecting more for the astronomical price I paid. Overall, don’t come here if you expect good customer service.

In the everlasting hunt for really awesome kosher Chinese food, by and large, the experience has been rather “meh.” Especially considering that even in NYC, many of the Chinese food restaurants were just lacking. Chai peking has been not only consistently awesome, but more, they are a pleasure to get delicious food from because the owners treat their patrons with the same love and care they pour into the creation of the delicious food they sell. Each time I go I try to get at least one new dish from the expansive menu, and I have yet to be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Kosher

Having recently moved from a major city with several kosher Chinese restaurants, I was delighted to find Chai Peking in Atlanta. The taste, the freshness, and the quality are all superb; comparable to the best I’ve tasted.
