Chauncy’s Kitchen has the Fufu Taco dish which is hands down the BEST taco I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everything on the menu is SUPERB and worth trying plus he cooks everything made fresh on the spot. As well, he has an “open kitchen” concept layout. And so watching him make food is not only entertaining but hypnotic because it’s like watching an artist make art in real time. An absolute must visit.

Chauncey Kitchen is one of Stn Mt/Decatur hidden gems. Right next to the Chevron. The food here is so full of flavor. The wings are cooked to perfection. The Vegan menu is outstanding. I have enjoyed everything that I've order here. Come check it out. I highly recommend.

OH. MY. GOD. When I tell you ahhhmazingggg. The food is amazing! The chef was so friendly and outgoing. The vibes were welcoming, fun and chill. I will definitely be returning.

A complete vibe in itself. Clean and customer friendly. Food was amazing. My lady had the coconut fettuccine pasta, i had the Jolof rice burrito and the wings! Needlessly to say everything came out fresh and amazing. Major shoutout to Chef Chauncey and his staff. Definitely a spot i will be frequent!

My first food experience with Chauncy's Kitchen was a take-away plate my husband got me. I had the vegan burger that was very good and well seasonsed. It was a generous portion, and enough to have enough for the second day. It re-heated very well and the flavors were great. I also visited the restaurant itself on last Saturday. The fried cauliflower and sauce was great and a sizeable appetizer portion. I had the fried red snapper, and wow! The fish was well prepared and the tomato seasoning added the perfect contrast in taste and sauce.

Its real food!! The food seems to be prepared fresh. The vegan fufu tacos are awesome, the jollof rice is awesome, the cauliflower bites are awesome!

Amazing food. Super Satisfying! SWIFT SERVICE

Ordered, today, after my husband and spoke to Chauncy about the food we were ordering because we just had a few questions about side sizes. We waited 20 minutes then I got a text saying the order was canceled so we just got in our car and left. Chauncy had been going on and on about this being the new way restaurants are gonna be that you order on a kiosk or your phone and just pick it up and leave, if this is the new way of doing things, talking to people and becoming friends and telling them about the food they are ordering then not even coming back out to tell them why you canceled an order you said you had, I don't want any part of it.

I love the diversity he adds to his dishes. The jollof rice burritos is my favorite and the fufu taco as well. His dishes are aways tinder, hot and crispy.

Slow with the takeout.

Being African I was curious about the fufu taco, but definitely was going to try other dishes. I ordered the chicken and beef fufu taco. Lamb chop and salmon dish as well as yuca fries.The fufu taco was delicious! It is innovative things like this that make culinary ART. The lamb chops and salmon were cooked to perfection in this amazing sauce! Couldn't finish the yuca fries as I tasted a bit of everything and got comatose full lol but now I see why he is a celebrity chef. Trust me...just try it. I guarantee you will come back for more. Already thinking on what to order next time.Keep in mind, as this may not be clear, that this location does not have seating. You just order on the pad in store or from a participating app for pick up or delivery. Still happy to discover a hidden gem!
