“I’m really torn about this place. When they get your order right, the food is absolutely fire — seriously, one of the best cheesesteaks around. But that’s a big “if.” I’m always very clear with how I want my order, and more often than not, they just throw something together however they feel like it. It’s frustrating because the food can be amazing, but the inconsistency makes it a gamble every time.“

“Woody's is obviously a classic staple in Atlanta, the Irby Ave location is no different. Although this location is the newest it sees hundreds of customers a day. The food is always ready within 2 minutes and the service is always warm, kind and welcoming. You see the same faces every visit which gives it the small restaurant feel that it is. All in all you know what Woody's is just like I do, never change, keep this successful formula going!“

“This cheese stake is so damn good. Best one I have tried in Atlanta. Reminds me of a spot up in Philly. Cool to order, hot and super filling. The wedges are good! Nicely salted with season salt. Worth the $12! If you are in the Edgewood area please stop by. The environment was nice and mellow. Minus the open bar.

“This was my first time coming here and I just happened to randomly find it and thank God I did! Sunny, the owner was extremely nice and you could tell the passion that he has for making amazing food! He took the time to ask me my name and tell me the story of how he started Hudson & Alphonse, taught me about how he makes his subs different from other places and areas and the sub came out extremely fast! This is hands down the best I’ve had in Atlanta and I would probably say anywhere. THANK YOU SUNNY!“

“I'm thinking it's the best. Philly cheesesteak place in Atlanta. The owner's great. The prices are great! The food is awesome. I talked to some people that were waiting for their food and they drove up from 45 minutes away and they do it all the time and take home extra for the next meal which is what I did.“

“Ok I just ate here for the first time. Just told the chef to basically “feed me” I got the original (see photo). I can’t say enough about HOT FRESH FAST AND DELICIOUS. Service was great with a smile all the way through. I hope they never change the French fries yum ? The place was small but spotless clean. I’ll be a regular here. You should at least give them a try. You won’t regret it. A+

“This was the first place my husband and I went out on a date in August 2023. I don’t know what was in that food because shortly after in November 2023 I was married. 😂😝

But seriously, the restaurant’s location in the heart of the city made our date special. Also, the atmosphere was amazing, pricing was not over the top expensive, and the food was delicious, fast and hot. My shrimp was the size of the palm of my hand. 10 outta 10!

Parking: If you don’t plan to be there for longer than 4hrs, try finding a parking meter near by.“

“Pretty good place very busy, for the money they make they need to fix the place up“

“Honestly the wings were fire ?. Similar size of wing to what u get in American deli etc.. but for me these were better, the hot lemon pepper or the honey BBQ always hit. Price is pretty good for the amount of food too. And the owner is a friendly guy I went in a few times and ordered the same thing and he now remembers my order

Parking: About 9 spots in front of the restaurant never full can always find a spot since not many people dine inside. Usually just a takeout spot.“

“I was at Grady hospital and decided to stop at the Municipal Market since I had not been there in quite a few years. I ordered the honey ginger grilled salmon with fried rice. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the fried rice was absolutely the best! Very generous portions. I live about 25 miles away but it’s worth drive.“

“Can’t think of any other place I’ve eaten and the salad was fresh. Absolutely delicious the low carb salad, I ordered the black bean but they were out. I dashed the order to work and the refund applied. So that was nice. A co-worker had the Rueben and raved over it. This our new spot and it all started cause someone had a rice bowl that smelled delicious!!! Big ups to this place and thanks for the portion size. Its shareable.“
