May 29th visit was great. This was my first time and shout out to my waitress (I was there around 4pm). She was great and made great suggestions ?. I will return. Shout out to the cook?.

I'd been hearing about this place through Get Brunch, so I stopped by on a Sunday for brunch. We were asked if we had reservations and we did not, so we were seated at the bar. We were given water and time to look at the menu. When the bartender came back we ordered our drinks and food. The vibe was nice. A dj playing good music, hookah, full bar. This is where is started to go down hill. They were out of fruit pebbles for the fruity pebble French toast. So I had to decide on another menu item. While waiting on our food, I asked the hookah guy how much the hookah was; it's $35 there. So we asked the guy to come back so that we could order once we got our food. We finished our drinks and were still waiting on our food. We asked the bartender and she had someone else come over to tell us that it's coming soon and was just put in... at this point we had been waiting almost an hour and told them that they could just cancel the order since it had not been put in. The bill came and it still had the food on it. I asked the bartender if she could print out another receipt without the food on it and she kept saying just give me the card and I'll only charge the drinks. She got an attitude that I preferred her print a new bill with only the drinks on it.

I had the j*** chicken ramen and it was really delicious! My friend and I really enjoyed it. She got the Oxtail Ramen and I know she enjoyed it as well. See the photos. The music was also really good. We saw famous rapper Young Joc outside the restaurant who actually covered our dinner. Loved the DJ. It's a turn up vibe - not a quiet place.

Came with large party for a birthday for brunch. Drinks were good but the fruity pebble waffles seemed to be undercooked. I liked the vibe so I may give it another chance

The breakfast burrito is soooooo bomb! There's no meat.. it has eggs, potatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms and the sauce on the plate is good! On Saturday there's a DJ so it's loud but I love the vibe and waitresses are great. Will definitely come back! (I would post a pic but I was hungry so...)

I have been meaning to write something about my experience. I live in the neighborhood and love to support new businesses. I tried it a few times and think it's going to bite the dust soon if it hasn't already because my experience was disappointing every time I gave them a chance, and I haven't heard different from anyone else. Overpriced for what you get, you literally get is ripped off. The overpriced drinks I had were weak, and the food was crap quality and loaded with cream and butter. The servers don't care because the owner doesn't either. The owner looked at me and rolled her eyes when I was trying to be friendly and introduce myself. I'm glad I didn't because I don't want to know someone who treats their patrons like crap. A lot of the chefs smoke and when you walk up you smell cigarettes and sewage. Their selections are limited and Who serves brunch with no coffee or tea? People who own restaurants should care about who they are serving not just serving themselves. The fake flowers for decor are a great representation of the place... FAKE and Fading. Don't waste your money or tastebuds supporting a place that doesn't care about you.

DO NOT !! I REPEAT DO NOT come here. Besides their basic Menu, the service is super TRASH! We waited over an hour for food, to be told later on that our order was never put in. Ok, so at this point I'm Hangry, so had to wait another 15min for the server to come back (mind you, I'm sitting at the bar). So she comes back and says they are out of fish, after already out of the fruity pebbles French toast and the chicken and waffles. So we decide to cancel and dine elsewhere. Also, the hookah was harsh and had no flavor! The server still wanted to charge us for the food we NEVER received . How sway??? If you are looking for a disappointment, please check them out. If you want quality service and a REAL brunch vibe, go to The Hive!

Went for brunch on a Saturday. Was just expecting some grits and eggs and got a whole experience. EVERYTHING was amazing. Food was fantastic, servers were super attentive and DJ was perfect! I don't smoke hookah but my friends do and they said the hookah was great also. Will definitely be going back!

The food here is so good. I’ve tried almost every single thing on the menu. The chicken and waffles are bomb AF! Mimosas are always flowing and the service staff is excellent. Definitely recommend their brunch food!

Newer place in town across from Jack's pizza. Food didn't disappoint at all! Came out super quickly and was delicious. Very reasonably priced and the mimosa was t watered down like most places. :) I'll definitely be back! Also, the tunes were on point!

I visited on today (Sunday). I arrived at 11:30a and hardly anyone was in there.. perfect for me because I didn't want to wait. The pitcher of Mimosas ($10) were a perfect addition to my meal with my cousin. I ordered the fish and grits and a side of waffle. The foood came on time and was hot. The fish was so good. The service was great. The bathrooms could use some work. I will be back!

It was an overall great overall experience. The vibe was nice with good r&b music. The mimosa carafes during brunch were a hit as well. On Sunday, there was no wait and we were seated immediately. I could be would definitely come back again

First time here and loved the food and service! The servers were very attentive and the menu is straight to the point. Make sure you have the raspaberry mimosa to compliment whatever you are eating. Will be back!

Visiting from NC so stopped by for a Dinner Date, had the Lamb Lollipops which was my first time trying lamb and it was great. I liked the sauce that topped it. Just wish they had a drink menu. But overall i enjoyed my visit, i would return.

Our family was so excited about planning my mums birthday here, and we came on the basis of chef baul as I’m all up for supporting black businesses. This all ended quickly only to find out the doors where shut at 7pm, even though they are advertised to be open on Mondays. Luckily we made it to Paschals and a wonderful time there. Would I come here again very unlikely, after reading even more and very similar experiences from other people.
