Closet to UNCLE REMUS I've had since leaving chicago 20years ago and I knew when I saw gpan I was in there like swimwear, pop and not soda..... a touch of home. It is about four hours from me but will be back after Thanksgiving for another gpan with tips in it too this tip. Only downside I can't sit and eat my food inside after the long ride.... please consider a small seating area when and if ever relocating. Thanks for the ride down Memory lane“

“This place blew my mind! Idk how they did it, but not even 2 minutes after ordering and just getting to sit down, they called our order number. Thinking it was the drinks that were ready, I got up, but it was the FOOD! We ordered 30 wings (3 different kinds, 10 of each) and they came out before the drink! Say less, chicken was hot hot too. Sauces were great!

“Another great meal at Joey D's. I took two of my sons for a birthday dinner. Had the garlic strip, the beef rib and the baby back ribs. Holy crap. There were so many ribs in the order (two full racks) we were flabbergasted. This order could have easily fed all three of us. The garlic strip was a large, healthy 17oz cut. There was a small bone but it was very small so it wasn't an issue even though the menu doesn't say it's a bone-in cut. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that I ordered the beef rib. I guess I didn't pick up on the word "BARBEQUE" in front of "BEEF RIB" on the menu. I was expecting a grilled beef rib seasoned like they would season the strip, rib eye or filet. What I got was a beef rib that was more like the giant beef version of baby back ribs. It was BBQ style. The menu used the term "BARBEQUE" so I should have clarified this with our server. I didn't and got something that I wasn't expecting. Again, that's on me, although the menu could be a little more specific. That said, it was a very tender large beef rib and I brought most of it home. My dog, Bernie, got the bone and is still working on it and I used the shredded bbq beef in some eggs and in some nachos I made last night at home. The best thing about Joey D's is that the entrees come with choice of Caesar or house salad and a choice of sides. All three of us had loaded baked potatoes. My two boys had Caesar salads and I had the house salad with the house dressing which is a honey-mustard style with a gratuitous amount of bacon. The salad was great. Cool, crisp and fresh. You could tell that it wasn't made an hour before it was served. It can get pretty loud in there at night when it's busy so take that into consideration if you're taking elderly folks who may not like that ambience. We were lucky and were seated all the way in the back by the rear exit. If you're looking for a consistently great quality meal at a very good value and great service, Joey D's is your place.“

I can't deny it- I was impressed being it's so rare to actually receive any kind of customer service at all, let alone fantastic service. The reason I dont give 5 stars is because it takes forEVER for your food to be cooked. Then my boyfriend, obsessed with chicken wings, said they don't know how to cook there, that his wings sucked awfully, apparently they were tooth cracking hard to eat.

Damica the bartender is hands down the BEST bartender in all of ATL without a doubt. Great customer service, witty, and a stand up comedian if I say so myself. My associate and I were having a decent day but she definitely brought the light to the day during our time there. This Cigar Bar has done an impeccable job of pulling in QUALITY talent for their establishment. The only place you are going to experience the genuine non scammer vibes in a cigar bar in ATL is hands down at Prime Cigar Bar. Nothing but love and respect.“

“The wings here, are everything! I had the opportunity to try the buffalo jerk wings which will blow your mind.
It is seat yourself and the seating went quick, the night I was there. Music was on point. One thing that is unique is how they announce when your order is ready! They definitely have a good time with this.
Overall the atmosphere, food, and service were good. I will definitely be going back.

“The manager Josh was very friendly and courteous, and made sure that our food was Fresh and hot and he made the order accurate. The wings were crispy and good, the Philly was hot with soft bread and quality meat and the fries were fried to perfection. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I have a suggestion to start serving fried okra! Mgr . Josh asked was there anything else we needed and did this a smile and good attitude. Nice restaurant.“
