We came to Chico Cantina on Christmas night for our family dinner. We made reservations like an hour beforehand. Everything was closed, so the Cantina was really busy. The girls who were the weight staff got us our food super quickly because our kids were hungry. They did such a great job and the food was amazing! The whole dinner and we ordered a lot of stuff, was $77 for the three people. The food was delicious. The value was good and I don't go out to eat very often. We took a chance on this place and everyone was so nice and we had a great time. Definitely will be back to the Cantina!
Chico Cantina never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, the service is always exceptional and the ambience is great for the whole family! You can grab a seat at the bar and watch your favorite game or come and have a great meal with your friends or family. We went for brunch and sat on the patio with our eight-month old puppy. I had a shrimp quesadilla with cilantro rice. It was perfectly done. We also had tamales and my husband had delicious Barbacoa tacos. The guacamole is absolutely wonderful and the cheese dip is amazing! Their special today was a rich and filling chili with a kick and my husband loved it! Even though everything was absolutely top-notch, my favorite part of the meal was the fantastic crème brûlée! It had a few blackberries on top and the flavor and texture were exquisite! They have great cocktails as well! Our server, Madison, was very personable and it was nice to chat with her about our pups. The manager, Elena, stopped by several times to make sure everything was to our liking. We told her we had thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!
Hosted my office Christmas Party here and they didn't disappoint! Great food, drinks, and service!
Best rice I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant!!! Super friendly staff and cute decor! Enjoyed having dinner their last night
I didn't know this place before, but I attended their monthly event called Nostalgia and absolutely loved it. The DJ plays music from the 80's and 90's in both English and Spanish, with the music videos showing on the big screens—it was such a cool experience! The atmosphere was excellent, the food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the service was outstanding. Definitely keep an eye out for their next Nostalgia night, it's worth attending!
Chico Cantina is a fantastic spot that never disappoints! They serve the best nachos I’ve ever had, and their tacos are simply delicious. I also highly recommend trying the calamari and mussels. What truly makes the experience special is the friendly and welcoming staff. They make you feel right at home. The margaritas are also a highlight, adding the perfect touch to a great meal. I will definitely keep coming back!

We love the new atmosphere at Chico Cantina and the food was excellent. Our hostess seated our 6 person group in the back at a nice round table which made it easy for us to talk. We did ask for the music to be turned down a bit as it was originally too loud. The waitstaff was very nice and handled our request. The price is not unreasonable for the amount of food - I ordered 2 tacos that were large along with the side. This was a full plate of food.
A lot of people complain about the portion sizes . It is tapas style . You will have smaller plates and you will end up spending more if you want to get the full experience . The taquitos , wings and spicy wrap have all been delightful . I frequent here for their happy hour taquito’s . The staff is the most friendly staff I’ve interacted with in so long . I’m also a bartender and enjoy the bar team they have . Chasity and Danny are an awesome team 🫶

Enjoyed the service! I tried the happy hour and dinner and both were enjoyable. There was a live DJ at dinner and the happy hour menu was pretty decent. Both times the drinks were on point! The chicken taquito and empanada on the happy hour menu is great and the croissant bread pudding and lamb taco were perfect! Definitely would recommend. Maria the manager was very friendly and Chasity was a great bar tender. It’s nice to have this option in the Brookhaven area ❤️

Very lively, good vibe. However NO FROZEN MARGARITAS…..WHAT?! Chicken soup was OK, but the broth did not have much depth of flavor and tasted more of commercial bouillon cubes. The “croutons” were just soggy little sponges, not pleasant to eat, and there was not much actual chicken. The tacos turned out to be open-faced (not described as such on menu) and were so soggy they fell apart on the plate, and thus difficult to eat, even with knife and fork. Overall, probably a good watering hole for the younger crowd, but the food is not up to par.
