Food was really good and unusual. Facility delightful. Our server was very pleasant but we got the wrong order (she didn't write down) and responses otherwise kind of slow. Learning curve maybe as she was very nice. Will be back.
Food was pretty good. A bit overpriced, however. Restaurant was pretty empty and quiet at noon on a Saturday.
Food and drinks were great.. $17 little pricey for 2 tiny tacos.. but they were delicious!
Our server Katie provided great service! She was efficient, able to give recommendations based on our palettes & was also very personable. We both really enjoyed the complimentary chips & salsa; we got the ceviche as an appetizer, which was good but could have used more fish vs the veggie ingredients. We then ordered the cedar salar with chicken & the shrimp fajitas to split amongst the two of us. Enjoyed it all! Fajitas came with choice of corn or flour tortilla - we went with corn & it came with 5 of them. Great flavor in the cooked onions & peppers. I'm NOT a mexican rice & black beans fan, BUT I REALLY enjoyed Chido & Padre's!! The beans gave more like Cuban black beans, which I do prefer so I was surprisingly in heaven with the beans. I can't remember the names of the drinks we ordered (a mezcal drink & a strawberry bourbon drink) but they were also delicious! We also had the pleasure of speaking with one of the managers Bre, super friendly & down to earth! I'd recommended this spot to friends & for sure come back.
Just meh. Nice ambiance and service was great but food and drinks were just OK. Both were bland and lacking the expected Mexican flavors.
My friends and I visited on Cinco de Mayo and decided to try a pitcher of Margaritas. Unfortunately, it was about the size of a large jar of Prego, packed full of ice and mixer. It barely yielded three drinks, making it feel like a poor value. We also ordered shots, but they arrived in tiny cap sizes, seeming overly watered down. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our experience.
The atmosphere was nice but the service was just fair. Food was cold and wasn't remade fresh, just microwaved.
The tacos here are the worst tacos I’ve ever had in my life. They were extremely greasy and lacked flavor. I bit into my tacos and tasted nothing but unflavored grease and gagged immediately. I am not the biggest food critic so that’s how you know what I was tasting was completely off and horrible

Not to bring any attention to but since you responded. I came in stood at the podium maybe a few mins def wasn’t a quick seating. The bar was filthy apparently there was a rush but I don’t believe that cause in that case the bar was filthy awhile cause I pulled up and didn’t see no party of folks outside but whatever then I get seated just to be told 86 on chips & salsa but 15 mins later a Caucasian couple got chips & salsa. Then I ordered corn tacos just to get flour then the bartender blames the kitchen! Just for me to get the receipt and see flour on the ticket! Smh

Terrible experience at Chido and Padre's!! While the ambience and atmosphere was inviting, the service left a lot to be desired. From the get-go, we faced long a waiting time as our server quickly asked us what drinks we wanted and the disappeared for like 20 minutes chatting with her coworkers. Food took forever to come, and was decent! Nothing crazy good, especially for the price - I paid an extra $10 to add protein(shrimp) to my bowl!! The queso, however, was yum!!! What was really disappointing about our experience is how we felt extremely bamboozled by the waitresses, who charged us an incorrect price for the marg pitcher we ordered. When we confronted them about this, we were weirded out by their reactions, it seemed like it was all planned, and then our confrontation was followed by a lot of sass which was unacceptable. They ended up fixing this - only after making us WAIT a whole 20 more minutes. But to make things worse, they charged me a whole EXTRA $15 FOR TIP THAT I DID NOT SIGN OFF ON!!! I have called them but got no response, and ended up filing a dispute with my bank. Overall, the ambience and food are good, but stay away because the SERVICE SUCKS!

Unfortunately, our experience here was disappointing. Our waiter asked us to pay the bill early because he had to leave, which felt rushed and awkward. After that, it was like we were forgotten—no one checked on us, and we weren’t even offered water for the rest of our meal. Definitely not the level of service we expected.

The atmosphere is great. The service was awesome on a busy day. They do have a kids menu which is always nice when we have our children with us. The food was ok. It wasn't bad, but left much to be desired.

I visited Chido and Padres and tried the birria taco with chips and queso, and the food was absolutely delicious! The taco was flavorful, and the queso was just right with the chips. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing; it felt slow and inattentive, which took away from the experience. I also tried the peach margarita pitcher, but it lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. Great food, but the service and drinks could use improvement.
