Chirori offers a convenient dining experience with free parking in the back. Opting for the standard omakase, I found the meal to be quite filling.
The meal began with a somewhat bland egg custard with mushrooms, lacking the expected creaminess. The second course of yellowtail sashimi with ponzu sauce and jellyfish was decent, with the crunchy jellyfish being a pleasant surprise. The sashimi platter, featuring a variety of fresh fish (10 pieces), was also decent. It included striped jack, yellowtail, red snapper, hokkaido scallop, chu toro, and uni (to name the few).
The miso-marinated black cod was a standout, with its sweet glaze and crunchy seaweed complementing the slightly undercooked rice.
The nigiri course (7 pieces) offered a mix of flavors, with the smoked spanish mackerel, toro, baracuda, and anago being particularly impressive.
The miso soup was a bit too salty, while the dessert, a matcha ice cream and red bean wafer burger, was a light and balanced way to end the meal.
Overall, the experience at Chirori was solid, but lacked the wow factor. The pacing was a bit quick, but the convenient service charge eliminated the need for tipping. Overall, it felt a bit pricy for what you get.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you’re looking for an extraordinary culinary adventure, look no further than the Omakase experience at Chirori. From the moment we stepped into the intimate sushi bar, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a minimalist aesthetic that allows the artistry of the food to take center stage.
We opted for the Omakase, and it was nothing short of a revelation. Each course was a beautifully curated experience, showcasing the freshest ingredients and the chef's incredible skill. The fish was impeccably sourced, and the meticulous attention to detail in each presentation was breathtaking. It felt as though we were being taken on a journey through the ocean, with each dish telling a story of flavors, textures, and artistic flair.
We also chose the sake pairing for an additional $70, and I cannot recommend this enough. The sake selections were thoughtfully chosen, each one enhancing the flavors of the corresponding dish. The pairing was not just a complement; it elevated the entire experience. From the refreshing notes of Junmai to the rich, umami-driven flavors of a premium Daiginjo, each sip was a perfect match that brought out the best in the food. The knowledgeable staff were eager to share insights about each sake, enriching our understanding and appreciation of the pairings.
Highlights of the evening included a delicate toro that melted in our mouths, a perfectly seasoned and grilled eel that was both sweet and savory, and a unique dessert that surprised us with its creativity. Each course flowed seamlessly into the next, creating a harmonious rhythm that kept us engaged and delighted throughout the meal.
The sushi chefs were incredibly skilled and passionate about their craft, and their warmth made the experience even more special. Watching them work, we felt like we were part of an exclusive culinary performance, where every cut and every plate was executed with precision and care.
In conclusion, the Omakase at Chirori is an experience that any sushi lover should indulge in at least once. With the additional sake pairing, it becomes a symphony of flavors that truly celebrates the art of sushi. We left feeling not only satisfied but inspired, already dreaming of our next visit. If you have the chance to sit at the sushi bar at Chirori, seize it—you won’t regret it!

We visited for the lunch omakase, and the entire dining experience was delightful. The staff was attentive and fun to chat with.
There were 8-10 different nigiri served, and each one was impressive. I especially enjoyed the marinated akami nigiri and the scallop with uni on top. Both the otoro and chutoro were well prepared, as expected, while the other dishes brought a variety of unique and enjoyable flavors.
The only minor disappointment was the limited cocktail options. Despite that, we’d love to revisit.

Terrible experience. 1h30min to receive all of our food. We ordered two rolls, two pieces of nigiri, miso soup, and tempura. When we asked about the food’s arrival time, we were told there were many parties ahead of us. We watched tables sit down, eat their food, and leave before we got our dinner.
The nigiri was so fantastic that I’m giving this two stars instead of one. The food itself wasn’t bad but the overall experience made me unable to recommend this place to others.

It was some of the best sushi and sashimi I've had in the Atlanta area.
Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building.

Chirori offers a full sit in restraunt, sushi bar, and additional omakase services.
When I went, I opted for some of thier standard a la carte options. I had the chef's choice 12 price ngiri and some single uni sushi pieces. I forgot to take a Pic of the ngiri plate, sorry.
The fish itself did not taste overly fresh. Cold, dry, and flavorless. It's my understanding they use standard lower quality fish for the basic restraunt sushi and reserve the higher quality for the omakase, which is understandable.
I also had a few bites of some uni which was overpriced.
Overall, food quality was very standard. Not as good as other omakase spots but about at the level as your average sushi spot. 5/10 overall. I wouldn't spend your money on omakase here in my opinion. They are just trying to cash in on the omakase craze right now and the quality is just not there.

Been here a couple times. Delicious sushi without pretentiousness. I felt like I was chatting with my Japanese aunties while I ate.

Came here for lunch omakase and it was sooo tasty! I don’t eat meat and the chef gave me a piece of fish instead of the wagyu which was very nice! It was delicious from start to finish. We got steamed egg, 10 pieces, a hand roll, miso soup, and yummy matcha ice cream
