They have some teas here ive never heard of and wanted to get a description on a few for a taste profile. Tuns out the shy guy behind the register didnt know and was on a working interview in the morning rush. The woman then explained the tea in an irritated way and gave me my answers with her back to me. Then was upset and sharp at me when she couldnt hear my choice. It doesnt seem like a place that welcomes connection or kindness. Too bad. Tea and pastry were good.

I am writing as a loyal customer who has been visiting your coffee shop regularly for the past 2.5 years. I enjoy your establishment and appreciate the friendly service and warm atmosphere.
However, I wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience on February 5th around 4:00 pm. While I was in line placing an order, I encountered a situation with one of your staff members. As I was on the phone getting my wife’s order, I had a brief interaction with a young lady behind the counter. When I greeted her and asked a simple question about a dessert in the cooler, her response was odd. She replied in a very low tone, saying, “I can give it to you." When I responded, saying, “I just want to know what it is,” she replied, “I don’t want to talk about it," before walking away.
I understand that everyone can have challenging days and personal issues to deal with. However, as a long-time patron, I wanted to share my concern about the odd interaction. A friendly, helpful attitude is one of the things that sets your coffee shop apart, and I hope this feedback helps maintain that standard.
Thank you for taking the time to read my message.

The drink was a bit watery as if it was prepared with coffee rather than espresso (February 4th, 4pm).
The barista was quite odd; she worked really hard to avoid customer engagement and contact; it made the air heavy. A gentleman asked if she had asked him anything. She simply said, 'no.' That was fine; perhaps, she they'd established some nonverbal communication that explained her brevity. He then told her to have a "good one;" she did not respond at all and was quite deadpan in expression. He even paused for a response; awkward.
She wiped a table within touching distance of me bending as I sat; typically eye contact kind of forces an acknowledgement but she stared and froze in place... like freeze response. Weird. She seems profoundly unhappy, and that's okay; but, it shouldn't bleed over into atmosphere and customer service.
Management, tell staff who may not have life experience that they don't have to coddle or fawn over customers, but at the very least - it is inappropriate to express hostility nonverbally. No one believes that you're there to serve just because you say 'hello' or 'what can i get for you?' It's not a sign of weakness. Just be polite, slightly engaging, even if they/you don't want to be there. It's none of the customers business how they feel. Work on that stuff when you clock out.

I love how they have a board to post events. As a community organizer, it's nice knowing a community outside of social media still exist.

It was quaint and cozy. The nutty Irishman was good but I didn’t really discern any unique flavors that would have made it stand out from other coffees I’ve had. HOWEVER, the service was great and friendly and they had a good size line of loyal customers so maybe it was just the day. I loved the atmosphere and there were unique drinks that I’d love to come back and try them just to have a better idea of the experience that I couldn’t get the first time. Overall, looking forward to coming back and trying their other items.

Pricing is not consistent lol. I can order the same drink and it’s always a different price
I really love the pastries and the coffee, but they allow smoking on the patio and it ruins my sit down experience so I only stop if I have the time to wait for a to go coffee

I love this place! So eclectic, the staff are friendly, and the price is reasonable. I'm comfortable there, and wish they opened earlier than 7:30 a.m. on a sunday, but that's life. I'll definitely be back and look forward to being a regular customer here for a long time!

I always love stopping at chocolate! Kona mochas are amazing and the Romania is always a Go to. The pastries are a touch over priced these days for the size. But hey- it’s probably top 10 in Atl for me… I mean I did stop by for a coffee on my way to give birth.
Parking: Attached to Publix
Kid-friendliness: Medium friendly. I wouldn’t hang out here with kids. I have brought a toddler and a stroller baby but there is not a whole lot of elbow room.

I love the chill atmosphere here. The staff are very friendly and it's a great place to sit and do homework/classwork away from home. It's a spot away from work and home.
The coffee and brownies are delicious. I got an iced chocolate coffee with a double chocolate brownie and it was awesome.
I'll be coming here often lol. ?
