Church's Texas Chicken

I'm standing in line associate just left the line and went to wait on the people at the window didn't acknowledge me then another lady came by but when I got the chicken it was midday it was hard it was old I had to throw it away

I felt hungry for some delicious chicken and yummy sides last week, and I chose Church's to satisfy that hunger. Unfortunately, I only got yummy sides and no delicious chicken. Still got chicken, but it was nowhere near delicious. It was like the staff completely ran out of seasoning but still decided to sell the chicken to customers in the hopes that we wouldn't notice. I am not a picky person when it comes to food, and I don't often leave less-than-positive reviews, so this review should tell you something. I will say that I've ordered from this Church's location before, and the chicken was well-seasoned enough to the point where I wanted to order again. However, this most recent time that I ordered from them was the first time in a while, and I couldn't believe how bland the chicken was. It was so tasteless that I could barely eat it, and I definitely couldn't see any seasoning on it. With the chicken being the main component of the meal, I was pretty upset. Sure, the mac and cheese, biscuit, and apple pie on the side were super delicious, but that sadly wasn't enough to overshadow the bland chicken. To make matters worse, I ordered through Uber Eats and wasn't able to get a replacement or refund. All in all, it was probably just a bad day for seasoning, but the chicken disappointed me so much that I'm not so sure that I want to spend my hard-earned dollars at this location again and risk getting tasteless chicken once more. I may drop in to buy an apple pie or a honey-glazed biscuit every once in a while, but chicken/a meal? Probably not. Also, please take note of the drink that your customer asks for. I ordered a fruit punch but got coke instead. I don't drink soda!

I had a taste for hot fried chicken and I got it. This Churchs chicken was moist hot and crispy. The okra was hot and good. And the fries were good too. I enjoyed my chicken and will be back!

POOR! POOR! POOR! Service waited over 20 minutes plus to have my order taken. Staff was out of uniform cleaning supplies was being carried around food. Staff horse playing while the front line was getting longer. Staff walking around kitchen and front area eating chicken sandwiches while customers waiting to place orders people started to walk out. Just terrible never again!

The lady at the drive thru was very rude only thing she said to us was our total. Walked off on me mid conversation & gave me chicken that was cooked in burnt grease. Also told me a cup of water was 2.50 wow only good thing is the food was fresh but who wants fresh food with a burnt taste😒

At 1030 a young woman with freckles stoped taking orders and said they didn’t have any chicken while there was a box of chicken on the warmer.

My food was also hot and fresh. She did an amazing job of upselling without making me feel pressured. She also offered suggestions to customize the meal to my liking. I am thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service provided. She deserves a promotion!

On 10/09/24 I Ask for the Wednesday special the girl said ain't no such thang all loud & ignorant, they ain't never did that, I said they did & if they no longer serve it just give me a family meal, then she got ? mad and start talking to herself saying God damn three more people asking for a Wednesday special, then I ask how long you been working here?she said 3 months I replied that explains,then she mention it to the so called manager informed her that they did use to do Wednesday specials she just don't , then she got mad like it's her ? chicken and shut the window
