This is beginning to be a repetitive review of rating restaurants in black communities in Atlanta. This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever experienced attempting to order. The guy who took my order treated me as if I messed his day up by choosing to eat here. It was so bad that I yelled at him and expressed how this only happens with ā€œour people.ā€ I feel bad for how I reacted, but at the end of the day, this is the last time I’ll ever order from this restaurant in Atlanta, GA. I'll choose to spend my dollar with restaurants and companies that employ people who actually care. I'm starting to understand why Rallys/Checkers employed a robot to take orders instead. Isn't it sad when robots are more catering than people who look like you?

I had a terrible experience at Church's. I had to go in THREE times because they messed up my order each time, and they cashed me out for someone else's food. When I tried explaining the mistake, the staff just brushed me off and gave me attitude. I had to wait until my significant other could come in to handle it, since they weren’t taking me seriously. On top of that, I was overcharged $25! I didn’t get the names, but I definitely remember the faces — one of them was the manager. Horrible customer service and I won’t be returning.

Church's Texas Chicken has a distinct flavor and when you crave it, chicken from another chain will not suffice. I went to the drive through and ordered a three piece white. The server informed me that there would be a 15 minute wait on breasts and offered three wings. What I received was not the equivalent of three wings and a breast. This was disappointing and the chicken was not seasoned. I stayed away from this location for two years and will remove it from the list again.

The service I received at this location was absolutely unprofessional and ghetto.

When I came in the line was long, but I was taking a neighbor to run a couple of errands in the same plaza the Church's was in, so I decided to get something to eat while I waited. I ordered a two+piece with a honey biscut, a jalapeno and sweet tea. An extremely simple order.

My wait in line before getting to place my order was almost 15 minutes.

When I got to the front of the line, I was assisted by a young female with pink hair named Cupcake. (That's what her name-tag read, and the name on my receipt was Taylor P. .)

I waited - 5 minutes went by, and no food.

In this wait, I notice that people are no longer receiving their orders. No announcement has made been made about what is or what is not going on, and out of being patient - I'm left to assume that they've 'run out of chicken', but I'm a little confused because I see chicken on the top tray and second trays.

So I wait a bit more. 10 minutes have now gone by, and still, no orders are being passed out.

I get ready to go to the counter to ask questions because that's the position you leave the customer in when you don't make announcements to tell us what's going on, but another customer beat me to it. I back up because I'm like cool we're about to find out what's taking so long.

Cupcake's response to the customer who was waiting before me was that he had 'two other orders ahead of his'. Behind her was another employee dumping chicken into the grease.

The customer looked bewildered like heck as he too looked on to the two trays of chicken that were in clear view of the customers. He stepped to the side again and continued to wait some more.

3-5 minutes later, what appeared to be two manager, or at least one manager judging by the way she came in from her break asking questions asking questions aloud: 'Alright y'all! What's going on? What its looking like?!'

The employee who dumped the wings just minutes prior flipped the wings into the second set of grease and shouted out '5 more minutes on the chicken!'. The FIRST announcement made ever.

Finally my neighbor was done with her errands, but I had been in Church's Chicken for about 40mins by this point and needed to get leave to take the neighbor home and myself to work now.

At this point, I go to the counter to communicate with Cupcake that I tried to be patient, but that I have to leave now and requested my refund.

She looked as though this was a 'possibility' at first, or maybe in her mind she was trying to 'decide how to let me down' and then she looked over and pointed to a sign that read that they don't issue refunds.

I responded, 'Thats fine.', and left immediately to take my neighbor home and myself to work because I knew immediately I was calling customer service.

Cupcake nonchalantly looked at me like she was prepared for an augment, but there was nothing to 'argue', nor anything further to discuss because I had to take my neighbor home and go to work. I'm not finna stand here and 'argue' with a female with pink hair named Cupcake, nor any 'manager' who would support the alleged refund policy about what's mine. You've already robbed me of the opportunity to make a good, sound judgement and leave (with my money) by not making an announcement that there would be a wait. You ain't finna ROB me TWICE, and telling me about some refund policy posted on the side of the wall that's not even legal is not going to make me stay and wait any longer than what I already have.

Not the location for me. I only had a big bill and they acted the fool about not accepting it. I was okay with the policy however the conversation was crazy and the need for input from the entire staff was straight ridiculous.
