This place is an Atlanta treasure. Easily Top 3 wing spot in th Atl, if not the best. Since eating here for the first time like three weeks ago, I've come back like seven times just for the wings! Specifically the hot barbecue or the hot lemon pepper (highly addictive). Clays is our family's go to for a quick casual dinner. We also order take-out a few times a month. We've been loyal customers since Clay's days in its former location across from Toyota dealership. We love the food and the servers - especially Jenny.That said, the past few times we've eaten at the restaurant, we've been seated towards the back. There is always a steady stream of in and out through a side door, and every time it opens waves of cigarette smoke pour in. Couple this with people vaping at the bar, and Clay's is starting to seem dirty. In this day and age, we shouldn't have to be subject to nasty cigarette smoke while enjoying a dinner out.

Girl with the blue hair was the worst server ever . It took her 40 minutes to come up to our table after we got our food and she never came to our table after that . I had to get up and ask for my own check . She walked past us many times and seemed to want to check up on everyone besides us . I dont know why because we were never rude to her to make her want to avoid our table . Every time we come we have a great time but I seriously don’t understand why she couldn’t even come to say the bare minimum of “I’m busy but i’ll be right with yall “
