This place is pretty expensive. I went in thinking the food would be amazing but it didn't impress much. I do love that they have so many events and it's always fun to drink on a Beltline patio!

Max, Jason, and Jason were awesome bartenders. They did their own thing with our drinks and they took really great care of us. The inside is now open and we couldn’t have been happier with our food and drinks. They are awesome.

This place was not what I was expecting but me and my crew still had an excellent time. It’s more of a bar with some eating areas than an actual restaurant and their food menu was a bit small. Regardless, we just rolled with it and ordered one of everything on the menu (minus the wings). It was the perfect amount to feed our small party of four. The server was nice, our waters and alcoholic drinks were always full, and the food was overall really good. The fries were on point, the burger was overcooked but still tasty, the cheese grits were delicious, and the best thing on the menu is the tartare. The sweet potatoes and pea dish were different but fun. The chicken sandwich was our least favorite (overcooked and dry) but overall we had a good time trying everything they offered. The drinks were really good and they didn’t skimp on the alcohol. There was no wait, it wasn’t crowded, and the atmosphere was just laidback casual which we loved. All the workers wore masks and covid protocols seemed to be followed. We parked in the garage next door and walked in. Would recommend.

Pretty awesome spot along the BeltLine. I came here one night to enjoy a casual dinner. I was very impressed by how seriously they are still taking Covid precautions. At the time, they only had their patio area open and we were able to get pretty good seats. I will say there was some confusion in regards to us seating ourselves or someone seating us wherever but we were able to get some assistance quickly (probably due to the confused looks on our faces). To start off with, we ordered a few drinks and some food to split. The drinks were awesome! We ordered the East India Cobbler which had a delicious spice-based taste to it and I honestly cannot remember the other. We also split the fries, fried chicken sandwich, and apple endive salad (my personal favorite). My belly was full but I can always make room for dessert so we ordered a few more drinks (definitely try the toasted old fashion- so strong and very delicious). For dessert, we ordered both of their options: the cookie sandwich and Apples and Ice cream. I normally love cookie sandwiches but this one was a miss for me. The cookies were hard and cold. I think a warm cookie would have been sooo much better! The Apples and Ice Cream were definitely worth the try. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely come back.

I really enjoyed my time here. I went on a Friday after work and stayed way longer than intended!Service and food was great, but limited due to their adherence to COVID guidelines (which I appreciate). The upper patio may not be open, and if it is, you’ll may only be able to order to go drinks to take upstairs. The to-go menus are pictured and drink options on it are limited compared to the main menu. It’s also drink only on the gravel side of the first floor.Cold Beer is great for groups of friends, especially during the day, and at night the added lantern lighting makes a great ambiance for a chill date. The pomme frites were surprisingly good. So good we ordered them twice! The two drinks pictured are the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Spanish Blinker - both really good and strong. The plates are great for sharing and the location is great for people watching. No reservation needed and also dog friendly.

Checked out the CB and Docent collaboration on the beltline. As always coffee was solid and the waffle wrapped omelette was delicious, enough for two people. The cinnamon roll was at least 1to 2 days old which was disappointing, not the fluffy moist standard one would expect.

The cocktails at Cold Beer were creative and delicious. I highly recommend the toasted old fashioned. The atmosphere was casual and fun. Several of us had the fried chicken sandwich and all agreed it was amazing. It was a great evening spent at Cold Beer!

Pricy like most places along the BeltLine but great for grabbing a beer

Great beer selection, huge patio (with both downstairs and balcony areas), and right on the beltline. If you’re looking for a nice place to chill on the beltline, Cold Beer is great. Usually not super crowded either!

Ended up just getting drinks here. But we sat facing the Beltine. Love the ambiance. Large establishment. The menu was super scant and just didn't seem filling (their burger didn't even come with fries). So we stick with drinks. Would definitely come back for drinks.
