Come Home Eatery (Located inside the Shell Gas Station)

I was very impressed with the food. It was delicious ? I will definitely return. Mac and cheese, potato salad, and bbq chicken was sooo good. They even let me sample before making my decision since it was my first time. Anyway you should definitely check this place out when in the mood for some good soul food!

Very clean. I had Brunswick Stew okay but greasy. I also had a half rack of ribs very tender and tasty. My son had a half rack of ribs mac and cheese and collard greens. He really enjoyed his. I will return to see how the brisket is.

I’ll add photos next time but when I tell y’all that you should run to this place if you want real good food! I’ll be very transparent & say I don’t eat out of gas station restaurants but I saw numerous people at the counter so I decided to look. When I saw how good the food looked I decided to give it a try. The owner is a beautiful sweet spirt & definitely loves getting acquainted with her customers. I was on some big back stuff & wanted to try everything so she put together a platter & it was tremendous! I’m mad I don’t live in the immediate area but it’s definitely worth me making a trip. The key lime 2 layer cake & lemon pound cake topped it off & just like the food they were delicious! I’m so glad I stopped to get gas because I’ve found a place I can get real good home style cooking.

I am from out of town and was looking for food near me. The reviews were amazing so I had to try it. I am a cook and let me just saythe food is delicious and the service was amazing. Ping Pong served me and he was so nice. They are proud of their food and they should be. Even the presentation was clean and appealing.

Very nice people but I came in search of some good food. I've been on a turkey wing binge since Thanksgiving. I've been trying eateries on the westside for the past three months and I'm looking for my place. I must say with all sincerity that my turkey wings fell off of the bone!!!!!!!!!! You hea(hear)me!!!!!! The bone!!!!!!!! I'm from Alabama excuse me but I'm so serious!! Oh and about my place.....say less!

Food was dry and lacked flavor. Customer service was non existent except for the older gentleman who stepped in and stood up for me.

The macaroni & cheese was delicious. So was the potato salad. The ribs were meaty but sauce was unfortunately bland. Could use a 'pick up.' The only negative issue. The owner was kind. Yes, it is inside the gas station. Recommended to me. Prices are not listed because, according to the Owner, the menu varies daily. Prices are average.

I stopped by a bit late on a Saturday afternoon. It looked like they were out of most of the sides. I just got some ribs and white bread and OMG! Those ribs were so good. They were perfectly seasoned, tender, and meaty. I can't wait to come back and try more of their food.

I've only had meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, cornbread muffins, and pound cake. The pound cake was AMAZING, but not $6 a slice amazing. Geeshhhh!!! The meal was flavorless, like not seasoned at all. It definitely has potential if seasoned. Cornbread muffins are small and was a little hard at the bottom.Great customer service!!!I'll definitely give them another chance and try something different. ☺️
