I seen that picture with that white worm 🪱 on that chicken… I’m GoOD! All these bear reviews I’m surprised they still open

2nd time ordering. 1st time ordering I bragged on how good and juicy the chicken was. The 2nd time a total waste of money food went straight to garbage. I hope Uber eats refunds my money. Please deliver this message to the cook you know that chicken was burnt. Youcan smell it. Why send someone burnt chicken. I know jerk is dark but this chicken is BURNT and DRIED out you can't even pull it apart. It looks like big pieces of charcoals from the grill. Wish I could have added the picture but I don't see that option. 😡

I don't get why when I order they cancel. I'm not impressed. It's a inconvenience that I have to wait for the money to get back to my card then use it on another order.

BLOODY UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN! OVERPRICED AND UNSANITARY! I ordered two orders of the curry chicken which by the way are priced differently depending on if you’re ordering in person, on uber eats or DoorDash. The initial bite was very bland and tasted weird… only to find the chicken was not only NOT fully cooked but bleeding from being raw! Both plates were like that! I even tried to recook the chicken and continue on but the smell was so bad. The coco bread was dry and also very old. I was sick for days. Reading the reviews, I see I am not the only one with a bad experience and won’t be the last!! Shut it down!!

This food was horrible too much seasoning to salty . My boyfriend tried to make a good situation out of it but I am not hearing it the food presentation was Awful it looks like the food was just thrown in the container.

I am so turned off by these reviews and my latest order from here. These reviews are awful. Worms in fish, stale food, price gouging, no real establishment, food dry enough to choke you, missing plates of food and items. Awful, yet my own experience can confirm these ppl aren't lying. On 8/4/24 from Ubereats I ordered the brown stew buy 1 get 1 free. Order total $14 and change. Time for delivery 20-45 minutes. Cool. Order arrives. I'm 27 wks pregnant, baby kicking we are hungry. I got tubi on, climbed on my bed, ripped the plastic bag open. I opened my food. Mouth watering. I'm telling my baby we are about to eat. No. We aren't eating. In both trays of food the meat was so burnt. I couldn't make out what it was.We have all seen that dark burnt food liquid in pots/pans when food burns. The dark burnt liquid covered my rice, cabbage and plantain. Baby is hungry, Im hungry. I start to eat the cabbage. Ok. I get to the rice. Undercooked and hard. Any one who's ever bern pregnant know that sick feeling when you haven't ate. I was going through it. I ate what I could and almost choked. The food was that dry. I almost threw up. Never again.I refunded my order.

Food wasn’t fresh, hot, nor warm. I never received food that taste like it came directly from the fridge to my home. Everything was ice cold do not order! Waste of my time and money!

When you first get here you’re thinking to yourself is this place a real place. There’s a kiosk and a payment machine. It doesn’t print a receipt. I ordered the oxtail sandwich, it was ok nothing mind blowing. The prices for the food are meal prices it’s not worth your buck. Golden crust is a better choice.

MY SKIN IS CRAWLING! I spotted a white worm in my Red Snapper Fish meal from Cookshop Restaurant ???? I tried to allow the restaurant fix the problem. The Owner/ Manager Patrick was the least bit concerned about my horrible experience. He refused to refund me or take action to deal with that worm problem. I ordered two Snapper meals. After coming across the worm my appetite left me! So, before the worm I only ate a small portion of one meal and got rid of the rest! One of the workers there “Jay” told me that I could pick up my refund on the following day which was Sat July 20th. Since that was my Birthday I got busy and forgot. So, I called back on Sun July 21 and Jay said, Patrick (The Manager) would call me. He did and here we are… Patrick obviously thinks a $40 refund and fixing his worm problem in the restaurant was too much for me to ask??‍♀️… Well, now I’m taking legal action! Patrick is a smart man???… I love patronizing Black Businesses. However, as Black Business Owners we must do right by our customers! IF I WANTED WORMS I WOULD’VE ORDERED FROM A WORM SHOP!!!???? I’M NEVER ORDERING FROM COOKSHOP JAMAICAN RESTAURANT AGAIN AND YOU SHOULD’NT EITHER?‼️‼️‼️
