NELLIES B'S Famous Chicken Tenders

My friend and I came to Nellie’s around 12:30am. We were tired and exhausted but we went out of our way to go there before heading home because we’d had them the night before and were incredibly impressed with how delicious the food was (although they barely had anything we wanted in stock). The night before, the cashier at the front went out of their way to give us free water for the inconvenience and overall it was a great experience. This time the experience was totally different. First, we waited a whole 47 minutes for our food (4 chicken strips and some fries)!!!! During the entire time the cashier did not give us any updates on the food or apologize for any inconvenience and they coughed into their hands and packed food without washing them. There was one chef cooking in the back going at a snail’s pace who would occasionally stop to take random phone breaks even though there was 9 tickets in the window. I watched as they walked slowly around the kitchen while random shirtless people came through to get to the bar next door. Then all of a sudden a cockroach scurried up the window and into the kitchen……GROSS!!!!!!! The cashier killed it, didn’t throw it away, and then laughed and pointed at their health department score. My friend was so grossed out he didn’t even eat the almost hour late food. The food is good (except the fries), and the service is not always the best plus they might not have things in stock.

DO NOT trust the negative reviews! This is some of the best fried chicken I have ever had!! The gentleman that waited on me was great! Super fun and made some awesome recommendations as it was my first time trying it. I'm literally eating reheated leftovers as I type this out and it's still so mouthwateringly delicious!! The negative reviews are just miserable people who are allergic to fun and have no taste. Best chicken ever!! And the fries...So good!!

The best buffalo chicken tenders I ever had! They’re a late night spot and I’m a night owl. I’m ashamed of how many special trips I’ve made in the wee hours of the night to eat here.

I pulled up ready to eat and They aren’t open till 330 They won’t serve you after 3 so their time should say 300am if they don’t want to stay open till ithe time they state on Google. This is deceptive. I could sue for false advertisement but black ppl so just take this as it is. Good luck and change your google business profile. Also the cashier was rude

I ordered delivery from here because they are open late. Never ever again is all I can say......????

Literally some of the best food in the city and a real treat after a night out. Ate some as a drunk time snack and the leftovers the next day were just as delicious. 15/10 must have again
