Always cancel events last minute. It is comical at this point.
Kind of hard to recommend when they never show up for events
Every time we try to go to their scheduled and planned events they never show up. Never got to try them, but I give up trying to find them to give them praise and business. I don't recommend them based off of this alone.
No shows for planned events, even when given a second chance after no showing the first time! BAD BUSINESS. Don’t advertise on your page where you’re going to be and then no show!!!
Cancels planned events all the time at the last minute. Sure, things happen but not having a back up plan puts other businesses in a bind, not to mention the customer who drove out of the way to get some food. Extremely unprofessional. Get it together.
They never come to the event they cancel with few hours prior the event
You cancelled on Cairn View Winery just a few hours before a major event they had planned. You really left them in a bind. There's no excuse for not having a back up plan, especially when there are so many people counting on you. How do you expect them or anyone else to trust you again? I don't think I would take that chance.
GF options are marked on the menu. I ordered lobster tacos with corn tortillas, shrimp tacos with corn tortillas, lobster bisque and clam chowder from food truck. The tacos were cold and flavorless. The shrimp were hard as a rock; the tortilla shells were soggy and crumbled. The bisque and the chowder were both amazing. The tacos belonged in the garbage, definitely not worth the cost. Side Note - for my non-celiac family, the lobster rolls were less than delish. The Connecticut bun was soggy due to the lobster thawing in the bun. The Maine was the same but had Mayo drizzled on top. Again not worth the price tag.
I am obsessed with this food truck. They come to downtown woodstock every 6 weeks & I always make sure i’m there! It is a bit pricey, you’re looking at about $20 a meal- but the food is DELICIOUS & absolute quality (lobster that won’t give you food poisoning isn’t cheap!😉). & their SAUCE!😍😍 I drown my food in it lol- it’s soooo yummy. The staff is always super cool & kind, i enjoy conversing with them every time! I tell everyone I know about this place. so good & so worth it!
Should have read the reviews the truck vs the restaurant is completely different. Lobster bisque is watery like chicken noodle soup.

The lobster roll and lobster bisque was delicious. This was my first time but certainly not my last!

Food portions small, just a lobster roll in a piece of paper in a styrofoam box. No melted butter, no cardboard slip to help hold roll and more expensive than Lobster Dogs. I have tried them both and was disappointed with Cousins.

Born and raised New Englander here! These comments about "no seasoning" make me question Southerners ability to appreciate how our lobster is supposed to be prepared. I will say this loud and proud:
YOU DO NOT SEASON MAINE LOBSTER.
We literally catch them, boil them in salt water and eat them straight from the shell with butter. It is beautiful, sweet and delicious right out of the pot. To cover it up with a pile of seasonings is just blasphemy.
I know the closest thing you guys have down here are those mud crustaceans that you have to rinse and season so they don't taste like literal dirt ? but a hardshell lobster from the cold Atlantic waters of New England will always be far superior and never require alterations. Even the comments about the price have me rolling because it takes 5-7 years for that lobster to even be big enough to harvest, let alone the cost to ship them down to Georgia to grace your pallets. The only thing lobster pairs with is butter, butter and some extra butter.
The Connecticut roll I ate today reminded me of home and I was in eternal bliss with every bite. It was worth every cent of that $22. I'm disappointed in the amount of people leaving bad reviews because they don't understand how Maine lobster is supposed to be eaten. I hope the people who come to leave reviews next see this before they take the time to comment their misguided opinion. Keep it up Cousin's! ??
