The staff here is just amazing. Felt comfortable from start to finish.
Food was just okay. Fish was too hard to eat. Place looks dirty. Floor is so sticky your shoes stick every time you take a step. Would not return.

Beware, great website but major disappointment! We were going to eat in, but the place was stuffy and hot (it was August), little IAC. We ordered the Cajun Seafood Combo, menu said fresh when “in season” but I guess in their book it’s never in season. Way too much crawfish (musta been cheap and in the freezer since 1995). Crab was sparse and difficult to get out of the shell. Sausage tasted like Eckrich from Publix-def not andouille. Shrimp was tiny and hard to get out of the peel. We had the meal for 2 for $86 and there were 2 tiny pieces of corn. This place is a scam, food was barely edible, their last inspection was an 80. Go some where else on Buford Hwy, there’s lots of great places!!

Please do not go here. This place will take advantage of you. I got the Sampler 12 fried oysters and 12 French fries, the cost was 28.00. It’s supposed to be Market Price, but they market price must be a %60 markup. I even tipped thinking it would be worth it. Food overly salty. This place is awful and should be shut down. Pic below of the 28.00 plate. Awful!

I’m a Louisiana native and I’ve had multiple parties catered by the crawfish shack. I first found them by searching reddit for what people considered the most authentic Cajun seafood in Atlanta. They deserve this title. I typically order crawfish, boiled shrimp, hush puppies, corn, potatoes, and beignets. The crawfish and shrimp are excellent, just how a Cajun would want. Corn and potatoes too. The beignets are a different take from cafe du monde style but, honestly, I was highly impressed and liked them just as much as what I’m used to.

Revision to my previous review. After explaining the problem they remade my order and the food was great. I ended up ordering more food to go for my family and they were pleasantly surprised.

Really fast service! Ordered a make-your-own-platter to share plus hush puppies and Cajun fries to start. The hush puppies and fries were both super crispy and well seasoned. Crawfish were a little on the small side but everything else was generous and their seasoning and sauce was so good! We asked for medium spicy and felt like there was not much heat to it so ask for more heat if you want it to be spicy.

Over COOKED!
Over PRICED!
Overly DRY!
$50.00+ FOR A $10.00 MEAL
Crawfish were severely over coooked and had no flavor I even asked for extra spicy and nothing. Red snapper severely overcooked I got it fried and couldn’t even eat it. I brought my co workers here for lunch and was embarrassed. It used to be sooo good but it’s gone down hill!
Went there today with co-workers we spent around $250 total & maybe 10% of it was the fried platters was over cooked severely red snapper, shrimp & gator tail. The service was good it took a long time for the food to come which made us think it's going to be good but that wasn't the case. Idk if they rushed it or that's just the normal. 2stars at best & that's being generous.

I’ve been visiting this place for a number of years but it seems like it’s only a matter of time before they go out of business. The dining space is now non existent and appears to be more of a to go place vs indoor dining. The quality of the food has also declined. Shrimp po boys used to have larger shrimp and now they’re much smaller. The crawfish are also very small and on the pricier side which is very unfortunate since there’s so few places in Atlanta to get crawfish that aren’t frozen from China. I wish there were more options in the area but this is it for now. I don’t think anyone will be disappointed with their food from here but it’s definitely been better in the past.
Super authentic flavors and presentation. Delicious food and great service! Been a staple in the community for so long now, keep supporting local businesses!
The experience was ok.....not as we remembered. The food didn't seem fresh but the manager was nice.
Order my food and it took them an hour to make it and it was just shrimp and fries
Everything was a great vibe we will be back ???❤️
