Wow! I can't recall a restaurant quality dropping so far so fast. Lunch specials are gone with and the chicken tikka Marsala that was so good before is completely bland. The portions were tiny with high prices ( $13 for a few cubes of chicken and fewer vegetables) and simple amenities like ice are not available. What a shame... I have eaten lunch here several times and have yet to have anything less than a delicious meal. The lunch specials are terrific and the service is always very good. This is some of the best Indian food in Atlanta in a location that is invisible from the road. Try it and spread the word!

I will not judge food because I didn't want to spend money for fancy dinner at lunch. No separate lunch menu! No thali! No eat here! At least the waiter seemed to understand. Sorry.

Didn't realize that This restaurant had open in Sandy Springs. It was very good and I will be back.

Didn't actually get to eat the food because they don't live up to their hours of operation. First time, tried to order delivery (which they advertise on multiple sites and promise through Grub Hub) but they apparently closed 2 hours early and cancelled the order. Avoid ordering food from here if you actually plan on eating dinner.

I decided to give this restaurant a try. I've passed it numerous times at the corner of Peachtree Dunwoody and Hammond Drive. The location is convenient and in a center with ample parking. One thing to note, the lunch menu is extremely limited compared to their dinner menu? I had Chicken Vindaloo. My measurement of a great Indian restaurant is typically a Vindaloo. The Vindaloo had a deep red tomato-ish color. That seemed odd to me. This dish comes with a side of rice, of course. The spice level of the Vindaloo was okay but the overall flavor was a little disappointing. I can't put my finger what it was but there was too much of a particular spice and the flavor of the Vindaloo was a bit unbalanced. I'm not sure how this Vindaloo is made but it did not leave a great impression for me.

It is waste of effort to give even a single star. Should I have an option, I would have given -2 rating. You will find every recipe too much salty, no matter what. Owners come to you asking how is the food and let me confess this happened with me. I hesitantly said few dishes were salty (actually everything was salty), and the owner said " Usually people who come here ask for more salt, so we prepare it that way"... Isn't that weird? If someone wants a bit more salt they can add it according to taste. Do people come to restaurants to have salt and half cooked biryani? However, I tried all the dishes and except the desert everything was dwelling in salt. It happened that I was discussing this with one of my neighbors who went to the same restaurant and had same salty experience two months before me. God! Looks like they have a huge salt reserve going to expire soon :D

I'm not a big fan of Indian food but was convinced to try out Curries Bistro because of their lunch buffet. Curries is in a shopping center across from Publix and there are plenty of businesses that share the parking lot so things may get a little packed at peak hours. The lunch buffet will set you back about $10-12 but besides that, the experience and food were great. The buffet has a wide variety of different foods so I tried them all. There weren't any signs telling you what was what (maybe it was an off-day for them) but there wasn't any food that i particularly hated. My favorite (i believe) was the tandori chicken. it had a nice spiciness to it which kept me coming back for more. The naan bread that is provided complimentary was also very fresh and delightful. The interior is very clean and modern. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

This place is ok. We went that day to eat food but they were closed till the dinner time. We went in at 515 Ish owner said come in early relax get settled in. Don't forget before that he said you guys can eat the buffet well reheat the food for you. But we just said we'll sit down. We sat down we got water everything blah blah blah, but it does take time for the food to come. There's like one Server basically but it was pretty much empty. So that was good in our part. The food took a good amount of time for sure to come out. The gobi Manchurian was to soft, usually it's supposed to be crispy with delightful sauce but it was soggy. The papadam was good and tasty but only came with sweet chutney. The panner was good but a lot of oil and it was very spicy. I know we did spicy but that one gave a kick for sure. The naan was good, but some of them were to burnt to eat. The food took defiantly 40 minutes but I guess we waited and drank beers. But some of the naans were good, the daal tarka is defiantly my least favorite, it as daal makhani I think instead it was dark and it was kinda cold actually it wasn't warm. I don't know if it was fresh but was cold when we got it. My friends ordered the lamb they said that was good. The dessert rasmalai was probably the best thing we had. The egg curry dish was probably a little better than the other ones. It was good with the egg and the gravy. But it still want piping hot. Just hope once the food comes out piping hot they would serve it. Everything else was ok, the mango lassi was not bad not not so super cold. My friends ate the chicken 65 that did not look that bad. But overall give it a shot hope it gets better it's almost there but there a few things to be improved. Super hot food, shorter food times and maybe just a few more improvements.

Have just returned to Atlanta after a ~3 year stint in Charlotte to see that the Sandy Springs/Perimeter area has exploded in size! As I walked the neighborhood, I took note of Curries Indian Bistro which is within easy walking distance, and given I had a serious hankering for some good Indian Food, had to place a to-go order to try. Their online ordering system is great - easy to use, clear, great options. When I stepped into Curries to pick up my order, the food aroma that greeted me was heaven! And the service was wonderful - friendly, welcoming, happy to see me. My order included Butter Naan, Kashmiri Pilaf and Chicken Tikka Masala (hot level), for a total of $25. I didn't want to go overboard with an order at the first go around.... HOWEVER, I wish I had ordered more of everything! The food was FANTASTIC - so delicious, spiced just right. The naan was amazing, the pilaf perfectly prepared, and the Masala.....oh, the Masala!! If only I had tripled the order!! Highly recommend Curries for wonderful Indian food - really enjoyable. Apparently they offer a buffet for restaurant service - will be back for that for sure!! Made me doubly happy to be back in Atlanta. Thank you Curries!!

There serve food very very late and looks like they are understaffed. We waited for almost 40 mins to get starter and they served bread 20 min after serving curry

Usually, I prefer Mexican cuisine, however, the food served at this restaurant is some of the best food I have eaten in Atlanta. Every bite is packed full of flavor. My girlfriend and I loved the naan. I highly recommend trying their lunch menu.
