We hosted a private family reunion in Atlanta with over 180 attendees, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was authentic soul food—I’m from Dallas, and I know good soul food when I taste it! The team truly rolled out the red carpet for our family and made us feel welcomed and well-fed.

If you’re planning a large gathering or special event, I highly recommend this business. They know how to handle big crowds with flavor and grace!

Ms. D is a godsend in the Atlanta community, specifically the Historic West End. Follow them on IG and fb for updates on live music. They cater, and rent their dining room for special events. They're also an in-restaurant full service dining room. Ate there today for brunch at about 11am, and my friend had the burrito with vegan sausage and vegan cheese replacement and devoured it. The fresh fruit bowl she got with it was so ripe and perfect! I ordered shrimp quesadillas, which were remarkable, with a yummy, very fresh and crisp green salad. They had ginger tea, caffeinated and decaf coffee. Service was excellent. They've partnered with the city of Atlanta to hire teen waitstaff throughout the summer for fair pay. Nothing is more wholesome, mom and pop, and worthy of support and celebration than a true community based business! I will always support this eatery!

Maybe a good place but the business owner is one Shady woman Devotis Lee be very careful if you decide to do any sort of business with her. She doesn't fulfil her obligations.

I tried out the newest menu item: the pink salmon sandwich. It was moist and delicious. The fries were tasty as well. I’m excited to go back and have it again.

If you’re looking for a way to make your dollars count, let me introduce (or reintroduce) you to DCafe & Catering. This isn’t just a business—it’s a bold commitment to community. The owner moved her location on purpose to support the very people who’ve invested in the area. She decided her rent should go into the hands of the community rather than faceless landlords. That’s the kind of intentionality and integrity we need to rally around!

Now, let’s talk about the vibe. DCafe isn’t just a place to grab a bite—it’s cozy and welcoming, a space where you can slow down, enjoy the warm atmosphere, and connect. Whether you’re meeting up with friends, bringing family, or just indulging in some quiet time, the space wraps you in comfort and care.

And the food? Sunday brunch is a must. I indulged in their omelette and chicken & waffles. The omelette was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The chicken? Freshly fried, golden, crispy. The waffle was good, though I would’ve loved some maple syrup, but no biggie—it was still delicious.

Supporting DCafe is about more than great food and a cozy space (though they offer both in spades). It’s about standing with a business that’s standing with us. Let’s show DCafe the same love and loyalty they’re pouring into the community.

Check them out —you won’t regret it!!

My friends and I came here for brunch and we had a blast. Michelle was our server and she was so nice. She explained their menu items to us thoroughly and checked on us often. She made sure we were well-taken care of. Our meals took about 20 minutes to come out after our orders were placed, but when I tell you we could tell our food was homemade and made to order. We could tell. Everything tasted amazing. I had some sweet tea that tasted so good. I was trying to save it to drink with my meal, but it was too good to save. I ordered some peach cobbler to go and enjoyed that at home. This space is huge. They have other events here and there is a large bar on one side with tables and televisions. The other side is where the kitchen and register are located. They have seating there too. I love this restaurant and how they are centrally located in their community. It is Black woman owned and operated and I will definitely be back. We met the owner also. She corresponded with me about my reservation and was so nice, helpful, and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back for another visit and amazing meal.
