Another IG post that made me want to try Daddy D’z… I have mixed feelings about this place but ultimately my money was definitely wasted. I spent nearly $100 on 3 plates (rib and chicken combos) to get old and I mean old as hell hard as hell chicken. Ribs not tender at all. I couldn’t chew any of the meat. I had to throw it away. The Mac and cheese is these big ol shells… not a good choice for Mac and cheese but was not good at all either. It was so bad I had to ask myself…there is no way when they put this plate together looked at the chicken and thought this was ok. I was so disappointed… the customer service was great tho… but I won’t be returning unfortunately and I wanted to love this place sooooo bad!!!

This is a BBQ SHACK — joint would be too fancy a term for it. It’s minimal on decor. The service works hard, is friendly, is efficient, and gets the job done. Shout out to Taura (sp? Sorry, girl): the best, and always smiling. The food was good and servings abundant. All in all, it met or exceeded all expectations, and I left smiling. What more could one ask for?
Vegetarian options: You must joking! If you want vegetarian you are in the wrong place.

Their Baked beans were incredible. Best recipe winner. Their smoked meat was excellent and definitely not dry . As a naater of fact their beef was sold out and I settled for chicken and pork. It was incredible. Will definitely Go back

I used to love the food here but sad to say that the quality has gotten worse over the time. Recently I tried the ribs, fried pickles, mac and cheese and fried zucchini and nothing was worth eating. Vegetables were fried so much that they were almost burnt. Ribs were very chewy.
As always people who work there are amazing and I love them all but I can’t come back for food

This is my first time ordering from this placeI Spent $60 … it’s so nasty the wedges look like they were cooked in old grease , broccoli casserole taste like VINEGAR! And the potatoe salad looks store bought ..the pulled pork is completely dried out !!!
Yall know your girl likes to eat "Good Food" After working a 12 hour shift my sister and I went to go sit down and eat. She ordered brisket, It was thinly sliced and packed with fat? Greens,corn on the cobb amd came with a cornbread muffin(gritty and dry) I ordered the polish sausage( they didnt have mustard anywhere in the building which was annoying. The young lady Jonice I hope I spelled it correctly was really sweet and offered us more food which was also Dry. Everything just seemed to be overcooked or not held correctly during the day to make a 8:30 pm plate with. We won't be going back sad to say I liked the old town feel of the place

I purchased a rib platter, turkey plate and veggie plate. Most of it was good. I am not a fan of mustard based potato Salad and the baked beans are not good. My disappointment was all the flies in the restraunt and the 10% unknown service charge to help with the cost of food prices. Yea won't get me twice.

Visiting from out of state and wanted real bbq. The food was the best bbq I’ve had and the server was so kind. If I’m in the area again, I’d visit! I had the pulled pork plate with baked beans, mac and cheese, and texas toast.
