Okay so I’ve loved Dad’s for forever. Cocktails, decor, food, staff, patio, 100% always. I love that they have a Paper Plane on the menu as it’s my favorite modern (hard to find) craft cocktail. And I love the 80s memorabilia and the nostalgic movies projected up on the wall. But I feel compelled to write a review tonight because the staff came through in a moment I really didn’t know if anyone would. Me and several friends had been in and out, mostly hanging on the patio for hours celebrating a friend’s birthday.
Towards the end of the night, me and two other friends went in to get our last round, like 15 mins before last call to be respectful to the staff. While we were ordering/having a conversation with the bartender, a man across the bar started spewing ignorant misogynistic hateful comments towards me and one of our friends. It was shocking to say the least and escalated to what I can only describe as hate speech, even after he was told to cool it by other patrons and staff. Katie, Carson, Peter, and David did an exceptional job of de-escalating the situation and promptly closing out and gracefully removing this vile person from their premises.
Can’t express how grateful I am for the safety we were clearly enveloped in by the staff in this moment, and the kindness they extended to me and my friends and the other patrons who witnessed this individual’s vitriol. Bad vibes (ie. racism, sexism, xenophobia) have no place at Dad’s and I’m confident in saying I will be a lifelong patron after this evening despite, or maybe because of, this incident, because of how the staff handled it. Love you guys—keep it up! <3

Visited this spot on Tuesday night and was blown away! The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience top-notch. A special shout-out to the girl bartender, the genius behind the bar, who whipped up the most amazing Cheerwine Martini I've ever had—seriously delicious! If you're looking for a place with great vibes and even better drinks, this is it!

More of a party scene than what I was into, but if that’s your thing, then this is your best bet and Carson (bartender) is the man

Amazing spot on the weeknights for a drink and a lowkey vibe. I feel the need to highlight the nonalcoholic cocktails including NA beers, phony negronis and gin and tonics. The bartenders are more the willing to dress these up with proper glassware and garnishes to fit the vibe. Pair this with a great soundtrack, chill patio, great interior and a generally positive vibe and this is one of the best spots in the neighborhood on the typically “slow” nights. Totally underrated and worthy of being in every local’s rotation of great bars in the area.

I love everything Dad’s has to offer. They have super knowledgeable bartenders that can make you something to your liking. The food is some of the best, the menu is kept small because EVERY single thing is amazing. Been 3 times now and tried the entire menu! Their kitchen and bar looks very clean, too.

Love this place. Great atmosphere, friendly bartender, fantastic cocktails, and a clean bathroom. There’s a disco ball on the ceiling, a mezcal last word on the menu, and a die hard poster and a picture of tony soprano on the wall, and yet somehow it’s not corny, ironic, or up its own ass. Great non alc options as well. I will be back.

Been to been to dads many times before and never before have been asked at the door “Have you ever been here before?” I’m not sure what that meant, maybe there were renovations or something, but I think that it was uncalled for especially since I didn’t hear her ask that of anyone else before entering. My friends and I were just trying to get some drinks to celebrate my bday. We consisted mostly of color. One forgot his ID but had a picture. We’re well over 21 so I also thought that was weird, especially since it was slow around 8 PM on a rainy day. Could’ve brought ya some business but whatever.

Seats at the bar? Ridiculous, good luck getting a drink. Probably 40 minutes if you are lucky. The one bartender with the mustache saved the rest, he is top notch. Some bartenders don't even scan the bar to see who is waiting they have tunnel vision . Countless times I was jumped over and and over. The entire side of the bar was 100 percent neglected for 20 minutes . As you are pouring, you scan; I get it, it's hard but much improvement is needed. I understand drinks are complicated and take time but to neglect an entire wing of a bar is unacceptable.

Great cocktails, service, and food. The White Castle burgers didn't taste like White Castle at all-- more like sliders-- but they were still good. The fries were amazing.
