feel totally scammed by this place. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves the extra effort.
I used to live in Atlanta, and Dancing Goats was my go-to coffee shop. Back then, I had nothing but praise for their hot coffee selection - it was consistently great. So on a recent visit to the city, I decided to stop by my once-favorite spot and try something refreshing: an iced matcha latte. Worst decision ever.
What I got was a pale green cup of what can only be described as dirt milk - gritty, chalky, with undissolved matcha clumps floating around and settled at the bottom. It tasted awful. And at $7.20 + tax + tip (one I now seriously regret), it was hands down the worst matcha latte I’ve ever had.
To make matters worse, the pricing is outrageous - higher than what you’d pay at many coffee shops in Manhattan. That’s saying something. Honestly, if you’re craving a matcha latte, even Dunkin’ or Starbucks (while still being two worst options on the market) might at least serve you something semi-drinkable. They’re the fast-food of coffee, and still somehow manage to outdo Dancing Goats on this one.
I’m genuinely disappointed, Dancing Goats. You used to be great, and now it feels like you’re just cashing in. Shame.

Grab a chili goat which is a coffee drink blended with ice top whipped cream and cinnamon highly recommend the mocha or the chai., it hits your taste buds like a thunderbolt especially on a hot day
The cold brew here is on another level. Not sure how to describe it, but it just... tastes really good. I noticed it from the very first sip. You can also get it sparkling, which is cold brew concentrate + sparkling water. That version is very refreshing, but the coffee becomes harder to taste so I'm not sure if I prefer it.
This shop has ample seating and outlets. Mix of people studying, working, and hanging out. I also saw more than a few people who seemed to be meeting for a job interview there, during the 3 days that I worked from this shop. The music got a little bit loud at times. The patio outside is very pleasant!

The atmosphere and the environment of the coffee shop are so beautiful. The energy is uplifting and positive. Georgia, Charlie, Tenesha, and the general manager Rafael are very hospitable baristas 😁. Come to the shop and check it out!!!!!! I promise it's worth it. You guys are amazing 👏🏾🤩

Very conveniently located at Midtown MARTA stop. Did have to wait but I figure other people must like their coffee so I didn't mind. They had 2 cash registers going so it went quick. I stopped at 7 30am on Tuesday, saw a lot of professionals. Several groups drank their coffee at the tables and were taking time to socialize. 80's Rock was playing, a little loud. Not my favorite but they didn't ask me to DJ ;). I would come back for the coffee if I am close to MidTown Atlanta.

I recently starting going to the Dancing Goat coffee shop in midtown because I have to take a bus at Midtown for work. I love the product!! The coffee is amazing! But the staff is not friendly. They tend to look at you at the register as if your bothering them by walking up. I have had three encounters out of my 5 visits there which is kinda alot seeing that I'm a new customer. My most recent encounter was today 4/18/25. I told the gentleman that he forgot the whip cream on my coffee he looked at me as if I just cursed at him! He snatched the coffee back and added whip cream. He then slide the coffee to me and walked off. No my apologies or sorry for the mix up oh no he just went on Abt his day didn't even ask if there was anything else I needed. Long story short unfortunately today will be my last day coming and I hate it becus the coffee is so good but it's usually too early in the morning 🌅 to deal with someone else's attitude so I'll just stay at the train station for the sake of my own sanity.
