Meet some colleagues for a working lunch. There was no onsite parking so some of us had to find street parking and some paid to park in a lot. It was a cold rainy day, but we still sat outside under a covered patio as there was a company having their office party/luncheon going on that took up most of the indoor seating. We ordered at the counter and got our food in a reasonable amount of time. Had the pulled pork platter with baked beans and DAS corn. The corn is a creamed corn with a jalapeño kick…it had really good flavor. The bbq beans were solid and the pulled pork was really good. The location has a huge outdoor seating area with corn hole boards and outdoor smoker grills going. Staff was very attentive and overall we had a really good experience.

High salt content in the food. If the meat is a lil salty, ok but it's way much more salt in the food, particularly the corn for certain and everytime I order food, it's very salty. Not to mentioned the pieces of meat where it's looks chewed up.

Listennnnnnnnn, took one bite , I mean the very first bite of the Collard greens and was taken back because they were SO FREAKING GOOD! Like wow! Then I took a bite of the Mac & Cheese & almost passed out, we might be neck & neck there cause that’s my fave to cook. The Brisket so tender , I mean crumbles & melt in your mouth. I thought about gate keeping but im going to let my people know! This is IT!!!! Okay!!!! 10/10 highly recommend.

Definitely one of the top picks for BBQ in Atlanta! Food was great, service was great and it’s overall a spacious restaurant with an authentic BBQ vibe. They have three offset smokers and three rotisserie smokers that welcomes you as you enter - setting the scene and expectations. I ordered: - Brisket (well trimmed, seasoned and cooked. Good flavor and good bark) - Pulled pork (nice smokey flavor and texture. I prefer it a bit more juicy, but you have a few table sauces available that fixes that problem) - Smoked chicken breast ( juicy with a good smoke flavor. Very good chicken breast) - Smoked chicken wings (very tasty and juicy wings! No soggy chicken skin…) - Mac’n cheese (cheesy and semi creamy - a good Mac’n cheese) - Potato salad (consistency like mashed potatoes, but I ain’t mad at it! It was very tasty and complimented the meats perfectly) - Collard greens (juicy and flavorful- a good side dish for sure) - Brisket tacos (good, simple tacos. Brisket topped with pico. Would have liked some cheese in there, but overall a good dish)

Very good BBQ. Briskets are tender with a deep red smoke ring and good bark. Ribs a re smoky, tender fall of the bone with a good smoke ring. Always a winner. Love the vibe with the smhufe smokers you can see and smell cooking. They take their time and do BBQ right.

I come here regularly. They were short staffed today but I want to shout out 2 of their staff: Tia and Vanessa. Tia was able to help me while I was very frustrated. I appreciate her going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Vanessa also stepped in to help and she wasn’t even on the clock. Between these two ladies, they turned a poor experience into a great one.

Loved our takeout BBQ. Smoked chicken that has been cut, chopped or shredded can be dry, especially breast meat, but this was beatifully smoky and moist and served with sides of great vinegary white bbq sauce i. addition to a traditional sweet/spicy red. Everyone knows how important the sides are with bbq and these were certainly tasty. Conveniently located close to the entrance to the beautiful and historic cemetery. We are definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of the smoke sausages for a nice afternoon lunch!
