Ordered takeout for a birthday party for 65 people. Had calls all day about how this was the best event food they’ve ever had. Matt handled the planning and made it so easy and fun. Food was delivered an hour away from restaurant and was still hot. I couldn’t be happier!

Hate to do it to em cause they were so nice but the food was not good. The brisket was dry dry and not seasoned. The Carolina pork was cold. Not worth the $60 and all we got was a 3 meat platter, a hot dog sides and drinks.

Coming from someone born and raised in a real bbq city your food doesn’t cut it at all. Especially the sides. You wouldn’t last a 1 year lease in a top class neighborhood in a city that actually knows good bbq
But don’t take it personal because Georgia simply can’t smoke meat…at least commercially…I don’t know about individual households…but seriously out of every southeastern state Georgia bbq restaurants are on the low end.
I’m sorry to hear that a delivery driver (allegedly ) stole an order. Your food is not worth stealing. I hope they didn’t eat it, matter of fact if they did they probably stopped after the first bite into your flavorless food.
As someone who has delivered food for 7 years now, which wouldn’t be possible if I was out here stealing orders, I’m tired of the disrespect from restaurant staff and management. I don’t condone any driver stealing orders but it may have something to do with any of the following:
Ridiculous unfounded inflation
Ridiculous disparity in wages
Ridiculous 50% decrease in driver pay from delivery companies
Ridiculous attitudes from staff
A government that provides more tax burden and less benefit to its workforce
And a contracting labor market
Though I am fortunate to be in a position to mitigate these factors, I am not dumb bead blind and ignorant to the reality that people are enduring like you Dumb Barbecue A… you can guess what the A stands for…
Maybe you guys should evaluate whether you want to be “partnered” with a company that is exploiting your product as well as driver labor, especially if you’re going to be pushing on drivers like me who haven’t done anything to you and have always tried and gone often above and beyond dealing with way more than you could ever imagine, just to be the INTEGRAL PART of expanding YOUR BRAND to customers through these delivery platforms.
And trust me I would have gladly told you all of this face to face if I didn’t have to deliver your customers order in a timely manner…so be thankful you received grace and we’re spared from being told about yourself in person. If it hurts to read this, like my parents would tell me whenever they disciplined me for being wrong, “it hurts me more than it hurts you”

Not even close to old VaHi location for dine in. The food tastes the same but this location is definitely geared primarily towards take-out. We came here for lunch on a Sunday and I ordered cream corn as one of my sides and it came out lukewarm.
I really want to give this 3 stars because all this experience did was make me miss the VaHi location but DBA still has some of the best meat out there and is still one of the few places that has BBQ Pastrami as a full-time menu item which is amazing.

He was communicative and delivered on everything we discussed. His staff were professional and friendly and the food was delicious. It made our party a hit and we got so many compliments on the food.
