I made reservations for mother's day thinking since it's downtown we're def going to need them. Boy was I wrong. They never even asked if we had reservations, then we get seated to paper menus that were beat, and not like my makeup! No drink menu and they wanted 27.00 for a 7oz flay iron steak with eggs......that's a waffle house breakfast. On top of that for it to be called dipped in butter the only thing that you could dip was a 5lb bucket of crayfish. We didn't even order I took my mom somewhere else. We literally walked out at the same time as another mother and daughter. It was sad and you could feel it.

If I could rate a 0 I would. I visited here a couple months back. Me and my friends were BEYOND excited to go. The service was terrible. We were the waitress only table and she moved so slow. They were out of almost everything we wanted. The DJ was cut earlyyyy because they said people live upstairs like?? And on top of that the crab legs I ordered wasn’t worth 1 penny I spent on it! It was missing legs and all. Sides were wrong etc. When we asked to speak to the manager she was quote on quote the “gm”. She said she would discount our horrible experience and literally gave us about $2 off our tab and still expected us to pay gratuity. Never will recommend or return here.

Made reservations for a bachelorette party and drove from Memphis to Atlanta only to show up and they were closed. They also confirmed my reservation but did not let us know in advance or the day of that they were closed. Poor communication and service. Ruined our Sunday brunch plans for the bride.

I got made reservations and when we got there they were “closed” lights off but the door was unlocked. We walked in and they told us the chef was “sick” and to come back tomorrow. We literally fly out the next day so we tried to come in the afternoon before our red eye and of course they don't open until 5 PM. Wish that would've been communicated.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant, it was late night. We had appetizers crab cakes, the chef came to the table side to understand the order. The food was cook to request, the staff and management were all about pleasing the guest.

No stars is most acceptable for my experience. Restaurant was pretty empty so we were quickly seated. Not sure if our waitress was new or not but we waited over a hour & 30 minutes for our food. 4 times in that hour 30 mins we were told our food was coming soon. After seeing a table of 11 that came in after us, there was 4 in my party, get there food before us I asked to speak to a manager. Couldn’t get a manager at the time because she was the cook. We were offered free shots, which we took, but that doesn’t minimize or solve the problem. We came for food not liquor. The manager came out to speak to the party of 11, we asked her to come to our table. she told us the server didn’t submit our ticket until 40 mins after we were seated. The server came over & said she submitted our ticket right away. Both are pointing the finger at each other. No one took accountability. As a Manager I absolutely hated the way the manager apologized to us for our server mistake when she was just as wrong as well. Needless to say I will never patronize this establishment ever again. LIKE EVER! Not to mention that between the 4 us we only ordered bacon, eggs, homefries, French toast & salmon & grits & that came out in a chipped bowl. Only good thing was the DJ & that’s why I gave 1 star

So I’ve been here before a long time ago and it was just okay, but then recently a friend highly recommended that we all go so we did. And wow, the food was AMAZING! I got the crayfish bucket and it had so much flavor!! They must have a new team working in the kitchen. 10/10 recommend this spot.

They have the "potential" to be good; but not there. Here are some reasons (owners, I hope you're listening. I've been there 5 times). 1) No consistency. You never know what items on the menu they won't have. 2) Unorganized. No host. You walk in after being frisked, and you have to figure out where to sit. 3) You don't get what you pay for; meaning, you expect better for the prices. I took a date there last Saturday. Spent $150. They moved us THREE times. We ended up eating at a high table with people standing and hovering over us (glad I got my booster shot). And we ate with flimsy plastic utensils. Now the food, if they have what you want, is great! And the staff is good. I wanted to like this place so much, but I'm done.

Welp, to start the DJ was live! No one at front to seat us, had to ask bartender. Took a minute to get a server, to find out that they were only serving alcohol and hookah. We were HUNGRY! We could've been notified throughout the confirmation process to book somewhere. I will try to go back another time, but will call 1st to see of they have food.?

They were nice enough to accommodate us because we were running late for our resy, but the only reason is because when we arrived they had no chefs! They were only serving hookah and alcohol. Not only did they not inform us of that over the phone, they also kept telling us different stories about why the chef was not at work. We got to the restaurant around 130 and they told us the chef would arrive in an hour so we was gonna thug it out. We decided to have a seat and order drinks to wait, then the server comes back to our table and said the chef wouldn't be there for another hour! And looking at the menu let us know that the wait for the food would be even longer...so we skeedaddled. Will not be returning, but thanks for comping the water downed drink!

Horrible food and service!!! I paid $68 for a half portion of Alfredo and a jack and coke. The Alfredo was bland they were out of chicken breast, Mac N cheese and mashed potatoes then they served me under cooked wings. They couldn’t provide a receipt and they charged 18% gratuity on my bill. NEVER AGAIN….THEY WILL NOT LAST LONG!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!

Nice restaurant. My friends and I went for happy hour. It wasn’t too busy and our server, Precious, was amazing. The happy hour drinks were $5 and they had select foods for $5, too. We were told the DJ comes later in the evening, which was fine because the music was at a decent level to chat and catch up with friends.

I rarely share a review but this was a HORRIBLE experience! I'll never dine there again. Booked via OpenTable, arrived and there was no host. A patron who was assisting with hosting some event there said "I believe u can just sit yourself because I don't want you just standing, waiting". Nevertheless after finally seating ourselves, the bartender who was NOT a server was nice enough to come to our table to take our orders as the assigned server was all over the place. The food was not good and kind of cold as if it had been sitting for awhile. I've had my share of bad experiences but I had to apologize to my friends as this was my suggestion to support a black owned establishment. #NEVERAGAIN The best and only good thing was the service we received from the bartender to try to make things better for us. Thank you!!!
