My family & I visited Don Chon this past weekend & thoroughly enjoyed the food! The salsas & tacos were a hit to me! The location interior is on the smaller side but we loved that! We will be returning again

Seriously, this was perhaps the best Mexican I have ever had! I’m not from ATL and came on a whim and was so blown away that I had to tell them to send word back to the chef how great it was. Everything was seasoned so perfectly and everything tasted so fresh - we got the barbacoa, asada, and birria tacos with house guac. Absolutely incredible.

Went to get taco campechanos for my lunch break. Didn't get the correct food order.

Come to find out once I left and got back to work that they gave me shrimp tacos. I don't like seafood period. I spoke to them in Spanish too ? there's a difference between camaron and campechanos. After that, I wasn't even hungry anymore. I didn't want to drive all the way back. So if you order to go or online, verify you got the correct food.

On the other hand, their agua de jaimaica is good. I just ate the cucumber with the salsas they provide. Their salsas are good.

Wouldn't come here again or recommend. The price I paid compared to other taquerias, I expect my order to be correct.

Being from south Florida. This is the only spot I dig in this city for tacos.

I walked away from my food; left it at the table outside. I ordered four chicken tamales and rice and diced chicken breast for my dog. I never did receive the rice. The tamales; I only cut through two; mostly dough. The diced chicken breast was an orange color. Afterward, I went to McDonalds.

A family member picked up food from here, and I decided to give their quesabirria a try. I’d had it before from another place and honestly didn’t understand the hype—it just didn’t have much flavor. But this time was different. The quesabirria here is incredible. Now I get what all the fuss is about. The consommé was good, and the sauces added just the right amount of spice, bringing everything together . Even with my stuffy nose, the spice in that sauce cleared me right up lol! 10/10, highly recommend!

We were looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant in Atlanta, and this place was spot on. The place is very simple, but very tidy and the food is absolutely delicious. The service is amazing. They make you feel welcome.

The food is mediocre and overpriced but their red sauce is great which is why I buy this small container for $5 and go to my other spot for food. Went there last night and now they charged me a whole $10 for it. If I wouldn’t have bought my Mexican pizza from La Morena beforehand I would’ve walked right out of there. I know it’s made with Arbol chillis, which a big bag cost about $3, and vegetable oil. I will perfect and will be making my own from now on. ??????
