This restaurant has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I just ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash and I was missing an item. I called the restaurant to resolve the issue of either getting a refund or receiving other food items and the first person who answered the phone hung up the call. I proceeded to call back three times and they would pick up the phone and hang it up. I called back for the fourth time and the owner answered the phone and I tried to explain what just happened and I kept getting cut off as I was trying to speak, which was also very rude. I also let them know that that person needs to be fired for their unprofessionalism and they offered me to come pick up more food from the restaurant. I explained that I am ordering DoorDash to a hotel simply because I do not live in the area so it is not convenient for me to do that and they proceeded to tell me to contact DoorDash to get a full refund for the food. They told me to contact DoorDash to get a full refund for all of the food items and that’s the only way they can resolve the problem. Also, after telling them that I did not have the full order and I did not receive a message or a call about that, but they decided to still pack my order and not let the customer know that their order would not be arriving as they ordered it, which is still unprofessional because all I’m trying to do as a customer is resolved the issue of how can I either get the food that’s equal to what I ordered or my refund for that particular item. I do not recommend this place and I will let my fellow coworkers know to never order here.

I’ve been coming to Don Chon for over a year and I love this place! Really delicious al pastor taco, carne asada, enchiladas verdes, and house-made salsa. In full transparency the ventilation isn’t great, so if you dine in you’ll leave smelling like food. Totally worth it though.

Don Chon is a small, quaint Mexican restaurant that truly surprised me. While the service was a little shaky and the atmosphere could use a bit of sprucing up, the food absolutely made up for it. The tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite tasted authentic and made me feel like I was eating in Mexico itself.
If you’re looking for incredible Mexican food and don’t mind a more laid-back vibe, Don Chon is definitely worth the visit. I’ll be back for those tacos for sure! 🌮🔥

I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 4 years, but my recent experience was incredibly disappointing. The service I received was unprofessional — the staff member who assisted me acted as if there was a language barrier, yet had no issue communicating fluently with other English-speaking customers who came in after me. My order was taken incorrectly, and to make matters worse, I was overcharged. This kind of treatment felt disrespectful and unfair, especially given how long I've supported this place. I hope management takes customer service more seriously moving forward.The sever energy was very bad and prejudice towards me. I will not be returning here again!

I love small taco shops and this one ranks as one of the best. The salsa selection is the most I’ve ever seen (I’ve never been given 4 different types of salsa) and their tacos are fresh and completely authentic. Will for sure be back

It is a family owned business and I adore the comfort here. I love to come in early during the buffet with my daughter. The horchata (drink) is larger than a regular restaurant size and I need it once I eat the different salsas they offer. It is sooooo filling and seasoned well. Authentic Mexican food that reminds me of home. One of my all-time favorite spots!!

There is no more buffet. They have added more tables which makes things more cramped. The hostess is the server, bustboy, and cashier. While the food was good, I found a hair in my chips (for salsa). I didn't mention it to them, but continued waiting for what I ordered.
It is still authentic, still family owned, and still delicious. Heads up on parking, the lot behind it is blocked off and cramped. It is sir m definitely different.

This establishment is conveniently located nearby, and I recently visited to sample their Birria. The tacos were wonderfully seasoned, and the flavor was quite authentic. However, the consommé lacked depth of flavor and was rather thin. I am not accustomed to a consommé that is primarily liquid. I certainly plan to return to experience their tamales and Menudo. I would recommend giving it a try, as the food was enjoyable.
