My family & I visited Don Chon this past weekend & thoroughly enjoyed the food! The salsas & tacos were a hit to me! The location interior is on the smaller side but we loved that! We will be returning again
Seriously, this was perhaps the best Mexican I have ever had! I’m not from ATL and came on a whim and was so blown away that I had to tell them to send word back to the chef how great it was. Everything was seasoned so perfectly and everything tasted so fresh - we got the barbacoa, asada, and birria tacos with house guac. Absolutely incredible.
A family member picked up food from here, and I decided to give their quesabirria a try. I’d had it before from another place and honestly didn’t understand the hype—it just didn’t have much flavor. But this time was different. The quesabirria here is incredible. Now I get what all the fuss is about. The consommé was good, and the sauces added just the right amount of spice, bringing everything together . Even with my stuffy nose, the spice in that sauce cleared me right...
