Our bartender made the experience! He was knowledgeable about cocktails and local info while being as friendly and welcoming as you'd expect in the south. We didn't get his name, but he kept us happy during the activity of Beyoncé night 2.
Natalie was our server and did an amazing job! Food was the first we had in Atlanta, and it was great. Best flavored lemonade according to my daughter.
This was not authentic Tex-Mex. The salsa was more like tomato paste with little to no spice. The portions were fair but overpriced guacamole and queso (also bland).
First of all, the hostess who sat us had such a beautiful spirit! I loved her energy, friendliness and smile. The bartender (Charles??) made AMAZING drinks! I would come back just to sit at the bar and have cocktails. We ordered the catfish dish that came with a cream sauce and shrimp. It was very good and well seasoned. We also had the blackened mahi mahi and the gumbo. The mahi mahi was just ok and the gumbo was chicken and sausage…..no seafood so we were disappointed with that and the taste was ok but not what we were expecting. Great atmosphere and vibe. I would definitely go back.
The staff were absolutely wonderful! Even when busy, they made a point of making engaging conversation with customers, and the entire place had a jovial, happy atmosphere that put us at ease after a long day of driving. The food was excellent and the portions were good for the money. We will be returning!
Our waitress was incredibly kind and funny, but it took a long time in general to be served every step of the way, even though the restaurant was half empty. Chips and salsa were great! Gumbo was disgusting, though the enchiladas verde were delicious!
We were there at lunchtime. Our food was well seasoned and tasty. It came out hot! The chips were excellent and the salsa was good. The lunch crowd was small so it wasn't very noisy.
It was connected to the hotel so it was convenient. I was there too close to closing so I think that messed with the experience. I didn’t realize they closed at 11. I got there around 9:45
First time trying this out, wanted to enjoy some Mexican food while on our trip to Atlanta unfortunately the service was very bad, our bartender kept trying to convince her coworkers to take her shift during our whole time there. The food however was very good, could have been a whole different experience with good service.
for those who didn't know Dos Bocas is in the same building that used to be Legal Seafood. We actually ended up having chips and drinks a couple of times in addition to dinner. I wasn't sure since I had never eaten there but everyone is extremely friendly, the drinks are great and the chips are just the right warm and salty! Excellent location for any Hilton Garden Inn guests, or anything in and around the Aquarium.

Lazy waitress who could not multitask. Never refilled our waters or came back to our table after plates were delivered. Asked for the check and received it 20 minutes later after her manager asked her to. I hate leaving bad reviews about restaurants, especially when it is simply one employee that ruins the experience.
It was a quiet Sunday that we came in for the 1st time. Gumbo and Jambalaya was very good. Our waitress/bartender was very good and really sweet. We will eat here again when we are back in Atlanta
The food was very expensive for what you get. Fried shrimp was good. tacos were average, gumbo was ok, smothered burrito was good and the po' bo was all bread Margaritas were the best part Our waitress was short and unfriendly ,despite serving a large table willing to spend money.
Our server came to our table only twice throughout our dining experience. She had the host take our drink and food order, our starters arrived and no drinks, mind you we got two diet cokes. Our entree's came out, and still no drinks. Finally our waitress brought our drinks. She never came to check on us or how our meals were, had to flag down another employee to get a refill. We finished our meals and another person (again not our waitress) came over to clear plates & at this point we just wanted our check and to get out of there. Finally the waitress came over and dropped off the check. The food was average nothing to write home about, the portion of guacamole as a starter for $10 was comically small.
Just had apps and a drink and we were there for over an hour of which the first 45 min was waiting for our first and land round of drinks. Guac and queso portions were comically small. The server was very nice but food and drinks just took way way too long.
