Excellent dishes prepared well. We've been here a few times and are never dissapointed in the food or the service

Ecco Midtown is my favorite restaurant and I wanted to bring my husband here for our marriage dinner the day after the ceremony. It was a perfect romantic venue to celebrate. We had a sweet and attentive Irish waitress who was delighted to serve us, and made perfect recommendations. We loved the goat cheese, lump crab cake, mussels, hanger steak and rabbit in black spaghetti. And the creme fraiche gelato to finish it off. I will come back again and again.

The pan con tomat was over cooked on the bottom, very hard to cut, tasted OK. Paparadelle was very good. The place is consistently solid, nice outdoor dining area.

Harold is simply phenomenal, and we were fortunate to catch him as our server. Just a terrific experience end to end.

Love this restaurant! Elegant, but quite comfortable. Service is excellent. Food is great. Very easy to get in and out of with plenty of parking.

The food was amazing and very filling even though the portions were smaller. Our server was like a ninja always appearing as soon as we needed a refill or were ready to order our next food. Definitely recommend for all special occasions

Sam was an excellent server! Always a consistent experience. Table number 33 is my favorite.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The decor was stylish and welcoming, creating a perfect atmosphere for dining. The food was exceptional—every dish was full of flavor. As for the service, it was top-notch: our waiter Caroline was attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. I couldn't have asked for a better night out with wife on our 16th anniversary. Will definitely be back again!

The Summer in Paris dinner concept was terrific; we look forward to more 'themed' events in the future. Loved that the restaurant crew were all dressed in black & white Parisian-style shirts; very fun! We dined at the bar and the servers were all friendly, welcoming and fantastic. They truly helped contribute to a most enjoyable evening. The Paris menu's Steak Tartar was delicious; the Moules Frites, delightful in the tasty garlic/white wine sauce, and the citrus aioli served with the frites was terrific. Unfortunately, the escargot flavors, while very tasty, were a bit lost by being served on a large 'hunk' of thick german-like bread, which required a steak knife to cut it. Unfortunately, we refrained from ordering the Crab Thermidor after seeing it served to the couple next to us. It appeared to have completely missed the mark, as it was neither 'gooey, cheesy, or creamy', as traditional thermidor dishes are, and was served as a solid, perhaps overbaked, breaded mixture in the crab shell with an unusual sauce dressing the plate. Perhaps channeling your inner Julia Child could resurrect this dish. The Lemon & Raspberry Paris Brest was truly outstanding!!! The presentation was nice and the addition of the lemon curd swirl and the salted toasted hazelnuts to complement the hazelnut cream & raspberry puree in the Brest took this dessert 'over the top'. Please, please add this dessert to your 'regular' menu!! Overall, we enjoyed our evening out, and we thank you for a lovely evening at Ecco Midtown!!

Ecco is always reliable for good food, drinks and service. For instance, we tried two cocktails from the menu and very quickly decided they weren't for us. I don't normally send anything back, but the waiter insisted on replacing them with something else which made me very appreciative. The rest of the meal was great.

We had a wonderful evening during Paris week. Food was great and enjoyed by all 4 of us! Ask for Michael to be your server Tuesdays-Thursdays.

I'm sorry to write this...but Ecco is struggling to adapt to changing demographics and dining needs of midtown. This used to be a go-to for us but limited menu, mediocre service and food are not a winning formula.

OMG!! We felt so welcomed and comfortable again. It was incredible and memorable, beginning with the Happy Hour bar service and bartender, Brandon. Cocktails were excellent, He was able to prepare our special mezcal cocktail, "Line in the Sand" which is not on the menu. It's the only Fifth Group restaurant that can prepare this and were so thankful. Our waiter, Michael, we had in some of our previous visits was our server. He had excellent suggestions for gluten-free options and my wife loved her redfish. The escargot appetizer was GF because he suggested adding french fries so she could soak up the delicious sauces. We had not been there since COVID, and it was our daughter's favorite restaurant when she visited and we hadn't gone back since she passed away. I guarantee we will be coming back on a regular basis. We also met and talked with Liz, the General Manager, and she is a true gem and wonderful asset to this establishment. We want to adopt all of them. We felt some much back to being part of the ECCO and Fifth Group family. ECCO is truly the best!!

I worked at Ecco Midtown for over a year and it’s by far the WORST company I have ever worked for. The company itself does not care for or protect ppl of color. They are constantly openly showing their racism and discrimination. I’ve been defamed, gossiped about and never protected in the work environment. Management has been terrible since Nick S. left. Management is constantly spreading hate on employees that speak out. The new Executive Chef puts pork in everything they make then tells the staff it’s beef, leaving ppl with dietary restrictions and religious beliefs not aware of the pork. Black ppl are the only ones in the restaurant that receive write ups. When you stand up against the inequality management retaliates against you. This is not the place for minorities, this is not the place for ppl that stand up to bad behavior and work abuse. Management constantly makes the work environment hostile. I highly recommend not working for Fifth Group bc they don’t care about their staff but the money they can make as a business

We love ecco! Great every time.

Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free menu, and our server was very knowledgeable.
